"This is weird. This cookie jar should also be sealed like the other jars." Elvira felt that something was wrong with one of the gifts in the box because all the items to be given as gifts should be new and sealed.

The cookie jar was at the very bottom, she had to lift out one by one the items on top to confirm its contents.

"Aww, this is heavy. There can't be a cookie jar this heavy." She really didn't expect the cookie jar to be so heavy. She couldn't take it out of the box with her thin hands. Since Eliza was at the far end of the room, she immediately opened it in the box.

As the jar lid opened, a thick red liquid began to seep out and slightly wet her fingers. Elvira's eyes widened, and she felt very nauseous when she saw the contents of the cookie jar. "Why is it like this?!"

Eliza also approached Elvira after keeping the doll away. She is still figuring out why her friend suddenly hates cute dolls. "I already put it away! So you don't have to ask me to."

Before she finished her words, she was utterly shocked when Elvira ran towards her quickly with an expression of fear even more severe than before.

"Eh! What happened?" Seeing Elvira running towards her quickly made her a little scared. Her friend ran as if she was running away from Spirit pursuit.

"Eliza is Calvin still in this mansion?!" With trembling lips and panting, Elvira immediately grabbed her friend's hand and asked.

"Y-yes, he is outside the mansion. But, would you please explain what exactly happened to you?" Eliza, who still remembers Calvin's whereabouts, immediately answered.

"We have to see him now!" Without answering her friend's question or providing a further explanation, Elvira immediately grabbed her friend's hand and ran towards the entrance.

"A-answer my question first!" Although annoyed that her question was ignored by Elvira, she gave in when her hand was forcibly pulled.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry." That was the only word Elvira kept saying as she ran.

Seeing a detective busy with the clipboard, Elvira immediately approached him.

"Master, where is Mr. Calvin?!" Elvira stopped right in front of the man and asked the man in a hasty tone.

"He's outside. I'll call him." Seeing the frightened expression of the black-haired girl made the detective not ask much and immediately followed the girl's request wearing the noble dress.

After the detective left, the girl Elvira pulled out looked out of breath, and it took her a few seconds to fill her lungs.

"We... have.. been together for 3 years. This is the first time you run that fast, and this is also the first time I've seen you scared like this. This is weird, and please explain what really happened?" Eliza walked up to Elvira and looked at her with a rugged look, but the frightened girl's eyes kept wandering and were reluctant to meet her's gaze.

Even though she seemed reluctant to answer her question, Eliza didn't give up and continued to stare at her friend until the black-haired girl wanted to speak.

"There were many things that happened just now. I was afraid that you might be dragged into the princess's destiny if I told you. I don't want my friend to get hurt because this matter has something to do with Evil Spirits." Elvira lowered her head and looked hesitant to tell Eliza what had frightened her.

"I will bear the consequences! Whatever your destiny, I will not leave you alone! Even if you have to go through a thorny path, I will help you get out of the evil spirit's threat. I believe there must be a way!" Eliza gently touched Elvira's cheek and looked at her with a look full of confidence.

Seeing the determination in Eliza's eyes to get further involved with Princess Fate made her touch and immediately whispered to her what really scared her.

"Miss, did something happen inside? I heard you ran scared when you came to my members. Is there any sign of an Evil Spirit attack?" The blonde-haired man came and immediately asked Elvira, who had just finished whispering.

"I've never heard that a Sorcerer can lose to an Evil Spirit, but I'm sure that Olive's disappearance must have something to do with the Evil Spirit." Seeing the police surrounding her made her fear a little less, and she could explain her findings smoothly.

"I'm glad you look okay, but why is the girl beside you scared now?" The detective standing beside Calvin was slightly relieved when he saw Elvira, but he was a little worried when he saw the stunned brown-haired girl with wide eyes.

Telling it to Eliza made her fear a little less. But instead, the fear moved to her friend.

"I haven't heard of it either because, from the previous cases of the death of the Royal Princess, the only victim was the Royal Princess herself. But what do you mean that the sorcerer has been defeated by the Evil Spirit?" Calvin was confused by the riddle that his younger sister's best friend had said.

But before Elvira answered, with trembling lips, Eliza stuttered after knowing what really happened in the gift storage room. "C-c-c-corpse?!"

All the police and detectives looked surprised when they heard Eliza's words.

"W-whose body did you find? It's not Olive, is it?" Calvin panicked when he heard Eliza's words and made him kneel down because he was weak. His mind was messed up because he kept thinking about his sister's safety.

"I hope so too. But I don't know if Olive is in one of them or not because I only found a body part of one of the sorcerers stored in a cookie jar." Seeing Calvin's reaction made her sad because she couldn't ensure Olive's safety. In a low voice, he lowered his head and explained her findings to everyone in front of her.

Without hearing Elvira's words any further, Calvin, whose eyes were slightly filled with tears, immediately stood up and ran towards the gift storage room.
