Chapter 19: Despair
"Hey Lynn! How long until Zayn comes out of that cocoon?! I don't think we can hold on against this guy for much longer!" Kai coughed sharply as he slammed onto a nearby wall.
"How am I supposed to know that? But we have to hold on till then. I don't think we can beat this guy without him." Lynn grunted sharply as he blocked a hit from the man's tail, which seemed to have become much more stronger than usual, with dark red runic symbols all over its surface that shone with an evil glow.
"Do you feel it? The despair. The agony. The breath of death hanging above your necks. Even if your abilities are of Heaven grade potential, you still won't be able to escape the fate that awaits you — death!" The man let out a maniacal laugh that sent slight chills down the two's spines.
"Dude. I think this guy has gone completely crazy. We have to end this before he completes his promotion! Time to go on the offensive!" The two of them quickly activated their abilities.
