Ch 6 Devilish features

Today is my birthday. It had been a year since I came into this world and today I will also unlock my demonic power and wings.

To be honest I am looking forward to when I will unlock my power and wings and the reactions of my parents.

Yesterday was rias' s birthday and she unlocked her energy. Her energy was overwhelming as she had had the gremory clan's traits too. If I remember correctly she should be a birth prodigy but in Highschool DxD, she never really placed much effort in her training and went for the otaku route. I will not interfere with her progress and let her do it, why? Because I don't care.

I was getting my emotions back too bit by bit and I didn't see my status from the day I was born because I wanted to surprise myself on my first birthday and I never really cared about it until now.

Right now I was laying on my bed. After a bit, I sat up and I saw a maid sitting in the corner of my room. She greeted me good morning and left the room.

It's been like this since my birth. A maid watches me the whole night without sleeping as her duty and after I wake up she leaves the room and another maid comes to bathe me and makes me change.

But today was different, today the maid who came was no other than grayfia

"Good morning master"

"Good morning grayfia"

I was now able to speak all words properly it just took me some day to master them.

"So how was your sleep master?"

"hmm? Ah, it was good." I answered groggily

"ah sorry I am a bit sleepy right now"

"Ah, it's ok master. So would you like to take a bath right now or after a few minutes"

"hmm it's okay for right now let's go"

After that, she took me off the bed in her arms and went towards the bathtub inside my room. It was just a small bathtub covered with curtains.

She first made me brush and then bathed me.

After that she made me wear some new and special clothes. They were very comfortable yet very formal.

"Surprise huh?"

"uh-huh"

"These clothes are made of special wool which comes from a special demon sheep. And the sheep are very rare only 100 sheep are alive in the whole race."

"ohhh, they must be very expensive"

"hai, you are right. But your family is also one of the richest families in the underworld. So don't worry" grayfia said as she could see the worry on his face after telling him that it was very expensive.

"mhm"

"Let's go, your family is waiting," she said smiling

"You are also my family grayfia," I muttered to myself while I was hugging her.

I didn't realize but she listened to it and looked at me smiling.

Then we exited the room and left for the family hall.

When we were near the hall, Grayfia covered my eyes with her hands, and I knew why she did it but I still joined and acted confused toward her.

"Huh? What are you doing grayfia? Remove your hands"

"mhm lord, wait a minute"

As she started walking towards the now I heard noises coming from there.

"My lord, I am removing my hands from your eyes ok? Open them"

She said and I did what she told me

"SURPRISE!!!"

I see some people standing there, they were my Mother, Father, grandmother, and grandfather.

Rias was sleeping as usual in the small crib that was on the side.

"ah-i-uhm" I didn't know what to say, as it was my first time getting something like this, never in my previous life did I remember a moment like this.

'huh? What's this?' I thought about the wet feeling on my face.

'tears? Really? Ah it seems I finally cried after a year of birth'

"Huh? Why are you crying baby? Is something wrong?" asked my mother worriedly as she dashed towards me.

"No mom it's just that-- Thank you"

Before we could talk more a sound came and it was a sound of

Me, mom, and grayfia turned toward that sound and it seemed My father took a picture of me crying.

I was honestly happy from inside seeing this side of mine from time to time was good too.

"Thank you mom, I love you," I said but while saying that I cringed from inside as it was the first time I told someone that I loved them. But it was true I loved her from inside and with all my heart.

"What about dad?" asked a childish voice from the background, I could not see his face because I was hugging my mother but I knew who it was

"Hai hai, I love you too dad"

"Awww I love you too my son"

"but not as much as mom," I said smirking at my own

There was a moment of silence and that silence was too loud.

*Pffft* "hahahahaha"

Suddenly all the members in the room started laughing while grayfia was just controlling herself as her maid duty was on the line, but even if she laughed no one would fire her from the job.

"Alright, Thank you for that, hmph," my dad whole pouting and in a sad voice

I freed my face from my mother's breasts which were suffocating me and then looked at the room searching for my dad but he was not near me but in the corner of the room.

He was sitting on his knees and drawing circles on the floor with his finger, while a black cloud was formed on his head.

"Okay okay enough of talking, let's now cut the cake, and then time for the gifts," My grandmother said smiling after she calmed down from laughing, and then we went near the cake.

A maid bought the cake inside of the room and it was huge as a wedding cake in a normal human's marriage. I don't know what type of cakes are used here so I didn't pay any attention to them. I thought that it would be distributed to other servants of the mansion.

The cake was now at the center of the room and after Grandpa calmed my father down he also came there.

"happy birthday Dear Arcturus" was written on the cake in pure red something. I don't know what it is but I think it is some kind of jelly that is only available in the underworld.

After the cake cutting was finished we all ate it and I was given gifts from my parents and grandparents and even grayfia. I was going to open them but my Dad stopped me

"Now don't rush to open them, this is the time for unlocking your demonic energy."

"Huh? But I already have my demonic energy?" I acted confused to them but I already knew what it was but still for no suspicions.

"Hahhh" he sighed

"didn't I tell you yesterday to listen to me? When I was explaining rias? Well never mind listen carefully now."

"You have your Demonic energy but that is only allowing your clan traits to keep in measure if you didn't have demonic energy from birth and get it during your life your body might explode because of the sudden increase of p.o.d or you might say the power of destruction. The demonic power you now will unlock will be your power and your gremory clan genes might help increase the power," sirzechs explained.

'he still doesn't know how much power he will be having, at his birth the power he absorbed from me and his mother is still unlocked inside him within his power. Only thinking of his power is giving me chills. I wonder what will be our future' thought sirzechs while an unknown smile formed upon his face.

"Dad you are looking creepy with that smile on your face," I told him in a deadpan voice.

"Ahh sorry it seems I was in my thoughts, well no more wasting time let's unlock your energy. Go and sit there with your legs crossed."

I nodded at him and went to the place he told me to, after reaching there I sat down with crossed legs.

'Will this be the naruto way? Like they inject some of their chakras into another's body for opening their chakra holes? Hmm interesting ' I thought

"now that you are sat down, take deep breaths"

I followed what he said and suddenly I felt a lot of energy near me

"You must be feeling a lot of energy around you right? I have placed a barrier around us and released some of my pure energy inside it. Your mother has done the same as it will give you a brighter chance to unlock her clan's specialty too.

As she is only third alive member of her clan after her cousin sister and uncle."

'Huh is she-"

Before I could think further new energy was being released from my body and something shooting from my back.

It should have pained me but I felt nothing because of my wish I guess? Or who knows that devils don't get pain while getting their new wings

[Ding! New energy found

Ding! Mp is being ridiculously increasing

Ding! The body can't handle much pressure

Using immortality function for adjusting other stats.

Ding! Normal devil wings are being changed by new wings!

Ding! A message is being received from the R.O.B

Ding! New skill learned 'Time'

After reading all this I fainted and my wings retracted inside me once again

Meanwhile, Arcturus was reading his text messages, the barrier that sirzechs placed near him broke. . .

(Sirzechs pov)

As I and my wife started transferring our powers inside the barrier our son started absorbing all the energy that was collected inside the barrier and as soon as he absorbed all the energy, the energy that he had inside his body exploded and it made some crack in the barrier.

It was as I expected but then his wings sprouted from his spine but he didn't shout or cried in pain as many devils do when their wings sprout.

I was proud for a moment for me because even I shouted a little when I did but my child didn't. I turned my head toward my family including grayfia and they also had proud smiles on their face for the same reason as me.

Then the power inside his body was just increasing and increasing it crossed the limit of high-class devil's energy, it made some pressure on me but not enough to put me on my knees.

Though my family was on one knee because of the pressure's sudden increase then they did get back on their legs.

The barrier was fully taken down by now and I had also ordered grayfia to make a barrier in case it broke.

Grayfia started making another barrier, it took a few seconds after it was made we all once again looked at Arcturus, but something was wrong his wings suddenly started turning red with bones on them and some holes within the wings.

They were one of the types of wings and somehow like Old Lucifer, but his wings were different too.

They were Horrifying yet beautiful, they represented the honor of the real king, the honor of royalty, and the honor of loyalty.

Even though I was a bit jealous of them but my jealousy was taken over by my happiness and proudness.

All the people in the room had their jaws wide open.

The room then went silent and the silence was broken by a sound

*Thud*

We saw Arcturus losing consciousness and falling down the floor.

Grayfia was near him when he fell and by now he was in her arms.

Hiyori dashed towards her and took Arcturus in her arms patting him.

"Hahahahaha" I laughed wholeheartedly.

"I knew I was right, to make him my new heir. Hahaha"

"Shut up Sirzechs we all knew he was the right choice," my mother said walking towards Hiyori and checking up on Arcturus.

"Hiyori take Little Arc to your room and let him sleep in his mother's embrace for today," my mother told my wife

"Well now let's go I will keep my son in my room for today," Midori said, and then she began walking towards the exit

"What are you waiting for grayfia? Come with me"

"Hai, Hiyori sama"

After they both went to the room we all started leaving too.

I left for my office while my parents left for their room with rias.

I was right now in my office doing some work like reading documents and other things.

I noticed someone was right now trying to break into my office.

I tried to hold the barrier but it didn't work and the barrier broke.

Suddenly a cute young girl with long black hair down to her hips and black eyes was in front of me and her powers were terrifying.

As soon as I looked at her I knew who she was-

She is Ophis the Dragon God known as the  Ouroboros Dragon and the Infinite Dragon God..

I was fully on my guard and was going to enter my

True form 'Ruin The Extinct' to fight her because she is the world's second strongest being.

As soon as I was going to use my form she said something which only confused me more and that was
