Arise my Envy

'I'm finally free! We're finally free!' as she thought while running into the woods. Her legs were numb because of her running. She was almost about to fall. On her hip was a handgun.

Her name is Yelena Abaddon, she's a 15 years old American and Japanese inmate of an asylum. She has escaped thanks to the instructions of the voice in her head. She was brought to this asylum because of how crazy she was. When she was 10, she went to a school and trapped everyone inside it. She burned the school killing dozens of students and teachers because 'Happy' told her to do it. She named it 'Happy' because of its voice sounds very happy.

This incident gained national attention and she was about get the death penalty, but because of her age, they decided to put her in an asylum, where every crazy and unstable people were. Years went by and 'Happy' began devising a plan for her to escape. It told her about the plan.

As she was about to celebrate, she heard a voice and a couple of lights flashing in her direction. "Look for her, we can't let her escape!" Yelena looked back and saw guards were beginning to come closer. Using her last remaining strength, she climbed up a tree and waits for them to pass by while hiding by covering herself with leaves.

'Those idiots will never see me.' She thought in her head. 'Are you sure, Yelena? Because if you slightly move and make a sound, they'll capture us.' The 'Happy' voice inside her said in an insured yet excited tone.

'Don't worry, I will not move a single-' as she was about to finish her words, she saw something. Black orbs of mass approaching her slowly. Curiosity got the best of her, as she tried to approach it with little movement to not alert the guard and at the same time to touch these mysterious orbs.

As she was about to touch the orb, the branch that she was holding on broke and she fell with a heavy thump, which alerted the guards.

'Fuck me in the ass.' As she immediately starts to run as best as she can.

'Well you better run Yelena.' 'Happy' said still in a happy voice.

The guards saw her and tried to chase her down. As they tried to capture her, the mysterious black orbs descended from the sky and to the ground hovering it. The guard didn't see or feel it and pass the orbs as if nothing was there.

The orbs were just standing there and followed the guards chasing Yelena down or more precisely Yelena, as if they were interested in her.

She ran, ran and ran until she stopped. In front of her was a river with the current very strong and behind her were those guards. Seeing nothing left, she unloaded the gun to see that there were only 3 bullets left. Seeing she still had a chance, she hides behind a boulder and calmly waited for them to come closer so that she can use one of those bastards that tortured her in the asylum as a hostage.

"Where the hell is she?"

"Shit, don't tell me she jumped in the river!"

As they started to approach near the boulder, Yelena takes a deep breath, before coming out of her hiding spot shooting of the officer's legs and took him as a hostage.

*Bang*

"Haaaa, fucking shit!"

She put the gun at his head and threatened the other guards.

"Listen up you fuckers, if you guys do anything funny, I'll blow his head to smithereens."

The guard looks at her with eyes wide and a crazy grin that she displayed on her face.

'She even more insane than I remember!'

As they were about to negotiate, she aimed at one guard and shot him to the chest.

*Bang*

"Awwww, fuking shit!" That guard that got shot in the chest kneel down in pain. While the other came close to him to keep the wound closed as it possibly can.

Seeing one of the comrades got shot, one of them pulled his pistol at her and said in a furious tone "Drop the gun Yelena, you've got no where to run and if you surrender. We can guarantee your life."

"Oh really, did you think I would fall for that?" She tightened the grip of the gun and said it with a sarcastic tone. But inside her head, she knew that the moment she let go of this guard. They will put her on a solitary confinement and will treat her even worse.

She went off of instinct and made a rash plan. She planned on killing the hostage and shoot another guard before jumping in the river. But it didn't go according to the plan, she shot the hostage in the head and tried to aim at one of the guards, but he shoot her the moment she killed the hostage.

The bullet hit her chest, and she fell down the river. As she about to touch the river, the black orb then flew inside her and she heard a voice inside her head. It wasn't 'System' but another voice. A voice that sounded like thousands of bugs buzzing in the air.

'Found you!' and with 'plob' she dropped inside the river. The river had strong currents and i took her somewhere else.

Meanwhile, the other guard that seeing her take by the current said "Is she dead?" Which he got a response from another guard "Yeah, she got shot in the chest and will soon die by blood loss with the strong currents taking her to hell." As he laughed off and they took care of their comrades that got shot to the hospital.

Meanwhile in the river, Yelena was sleeping on a wood plank as the currents took her until it hit a big rock in which it broke the plank and she began to drown. She fazed into the dark water, as she began to see the abyss taking her deeper into the cold water. She didn't have strength anymore and let go, drowning herself.

As she began to close her eyes and awaiting for death to come. She heard a voice, not 'System' but another one 'Let's join together, little Yelena.' As soon the voice said it, the water around her began to turn darker and darker, and soon a screen appeared in front of her.

Seeing this mysterious screen, she used the last remaining strength to move her arm and clicking 'yes' which instantly put her unconscious. She didn't know why she didn't even question it. It was like a reflex.
