The three flying rings disappeared from Gao Sou's hand. Amon closed his eyes. The rings were too fast to see. He relied entirely on his battle instinct to detect the incoming attack.
Amon sensed the three rings came at him from different directions. He lifted his left arm. The Xian Cloth on that hand unraveled. It whirled around him. The long yellow cloth went in a radial path that accurately blocked the three rings. The rings slammed into the soft fabric. They pushed in but failed to pierce through.
While Amon used the Xian Cloth on his left arm to block the rings, his right hand threw another flying knife.
Gao Sou was surprised his opponent successfully stopped his throwing weapons. This surprise almost cost him the match. He moved his head away just as Amon's knife came flying. The knife missed but nicked his ear.
He touched his ear and found that it was bleeding. He stared at the blood on his hand in disbelief.
