Death Sinner’s Truth (4)

Trinity feels as though she might collapse and Amlith relocates herself beside her to offer her support. She doesn't reject her, and willingly accepts her comfort, understanding she needs it right now. "So I caused my own suffering for all this time? Because I killed myself back then?"

"Yes. You can take the life of Sinners, but you can never die in return. You damned yourself to your own hell based off your life and all your regrets, meant to suffer endlessly until you realized that your new hell was far worse than your previous one. While the main events mimicked your reality, your and Shiori's abuse was much worse. It seems you wanted to punish yourself. Killing your father and yourself once again in your dream shattered your purgatory and set you free. Your father is truly dead, and your throne is yours to claim. You will be Death Sinner Queen Trinity, but not without tying up some loose ends. Your immunity is gone and so now, you'll have to fight to defend your place." Amlith's words fail to reach Trinity, who's now frantic.

"So, this is reality then? Shiori was trapped here in reality for all that time, waiting for me to find her and I was sleeping away in a hellish dream?" She clutches her fists in anger at herself. "I'm so sorry Shi!" Having had everything boil up and finally reaching her breaking point, Trinity begins to cry. "I'm such a terrible sister! I don't deserve to live again. I should really just die!"

'Don't cry Sis, please don't cry.' Shiori speaks to her once again. "I'm ok, I promise. You finally found me and came for me in the end, so I'm happy now. You're the best sister in the world!'

"I don't deserve your forgiveness Shiori. You're way too good to me. This isn't fair to you!"

Amlith rubs Trinity's back. "I don't know what your sister may be saying to you, but I'm sure it's something positive. You should believe her Trinity. Your sister may be a divine weapon, but she too has a soul. Your life and time together was real, as were your experiences. Trust in her."

Trinity breaks down fully, crying harder as she falls into Amlith's chest. She's caught off guard at first, but quickly accepts her and holds her in her arms. She allows her to cry to satisfaction. "Agora." The maid appears beside her and a now sleeping Trinity. "Take her to her room now."

"Yes Mistress, at once!" She claps her hands and soon Tit and Tat appear. "You heard Mistress."

The two swiftly and effortlessly lift Trinity and whisk her away to the room that was especially prepared for her. Once they've gone, Amlith lets out a heavy sigh. "I'm so close. I can feel it."

"If I may speak Mistress?" She nods. "I think you need to be wary of that girl. She's dangerous."

"Not more so than me. Be serious Agora." She looks at the tiny woman with curiosity. "What makes you think such a thing? I thought you were previously under the impression she was too naïve and not cut out to be a royal? What's changed between then and now? Do enlighten me."

"Forgive me, but I was watching her closely as you two dined. I noticed that she was also watching you. She was analyzing you at the finest level, while maintaining an innocent façade."

"Nonsense. You worry too much Agora." She falls silent. "Very soon…that girl will be mine."

Trinity wakes up in the comfort of her sheets. She opens her eyes to a dark room, and while she's never been one to fear the dark, she suddenly feels unease at being all alone in a large room in an unfamiliar place. "Shi?" She calls for her sister, but she doesn't respond. "You sleep too, huh?" Trinity stares up at the ceiling as she recalls everything she learned today. She wishes she hadn't though as she's now feeling miserable. "I hate this!" She sobs. "I don't want to be alone here…."

After crying once again for a while, she finally gets out of bed. She sees she's wearing a gown, which means Tit and Tat likely changed her before putting her in bed. She notices a robe and slippers beside the bed. She decides to slip them on and then cautiously approaches the door.

She opens it as quietly as she can and steps out. She notices she's in an unfamiliar hallway, but to her right, she recognizes a stone bust she passed earlier when on her tour with Agora. She follows that path, and soon finds herself standing in front of the doors leading to Amlith's room.

She stands in front of it for the longest time, feeling unsure of if she should open the door. To enter the private bedroom of such an imposing figure of obvious noble lineage uninvited, it feels blasphemous. Yet, the thought of turning back and returning to her lonely room bothers her even more. So, she takes the leap and opens the door. She steps inside, understanding everything will change. She can't turn back anymore and she doesn't want to. She won't run from her fate again.

She gently closes the door behind her and approaches the bed. However, she finds it empty. She's surprised at how disappointed she feels. Just as she considers turning back around, she feels an embrace from behind. "To sneak into my bedchamber so casually with no consideration for the implications you'll make…. You are so much bolder than I gave you credit for Trinity."

"Miss Amlith I…." She hadn't considered what she wanted to say beforehand. "May I sleep with you tonight? I…don't want to be alone tonight. I promise I won't be much of a bother to you."

"I don't mind, but…is that all you want from me?" She whispers against her ear. "I'm happy to oblige if that's the case, no conditions attached. However…I can't help but feel there's more." Trinity understands what she's implying and what her own scandalous actions here suggest.

She hadn't considered that there could be more to this than just fear and loneliness, but Amlith's warm embrace around her makes her feel more at ease than she's ever been. The soft press of her breasts against her back stirs something deep below, and she feels overwhelmed by rising heat. The strong and inviting scent of rich jasmine awakens a desire in her like she's never felt before.

"Miss Amlith…. If I may ask…please, take me to bed." She feels Amlith gently kiss her neck.

"Of course Trinity Dear, your wish is my command." Without further hesitation, Trinity follows Amlith to bed. The heat between the sheets grows hot, and the night soon extends, ever so long. This moment will forever be preserved as a special memory only for them, even to the bitter end.

Trinity wakes up in a tangle of sheets. Sleeping soundly beside her is Amlith, looking extremely vulnerable. She never expected she could look this way…nor that she'd want to try exploiting it. Trinity gets out of the bed carefully, hoping to avoid waking Amlith. However, with how worn out they both were by the end of their sixth round of six respective climaxes, it may be six hours before she wakes again. Stepping out onto the balcony, the countless love marks become clear all across her nude body. Marks that once signified shame and impurity, she now wore with pride.

'Trinity…are you gonna be her slave now? Are we really just going to fall in line like before? I don't want that! We escaped that man, and we're free now. Do you really want to stay this way?'

Trinity grins. "Patience Shi. Trust me. I promise you; we will NEVER be kept prisoners again."

Trinity's not as naive as she seems or believed to be, I promise. She's got this. Let her cook. ;)

With this, we are now at the end of Volume 2. In Volume 3, we're finally going to get to see Trinity in action as a Death Reaper and meet Trinity's first (and second) Death Sinner companion. I'm excited! ^^
