The Lady In Black, Part Twenty-Nine

{Zenith}

{A Day Later}

The old restaurant stood at the edge of the dimly lit street, its weathered sign creaking softly in the night breeze.

The sun hadn't fully risen yet. 

Zenith and Syneris moved with purpose, their footsteps muffled against the cobblestone path.

As they neared the Bonecrushers' hideout, Syneris reached into her pack and retrieved a small vial, offering it to Zenith.

"Here," Syneris whispered, her eyes glinting with determination. "Invisibility potion. It won't last long, so let's make it count."

Zenith nodded, accepting the vial and downing its contents swiftly.

The magic took effect almost immediately, a faint shimmer enveloping her form as she faded from view.

The two of them weaved through the busy streets, their senses alert for any signs of danger.

Syneris led Zenith along with the confidence of someone familiar with these alleys, her gaze flickering to each shadowed corner as they passed.
