The Lady in Black, Part Thirty-Three

{Zenith}

As the battle raged on outside the bar, Zenith and the other Black Widows fought against the relentless onslaught of Bonecrushers.

The clash of steel rang through the air as swords clashed and arrows whistled past Zenith's head.

Despite their best efforts, the reinforcements just felt endless. 

Still, Zenith did her best, alternating between slamming her greatsword down on people and resurrecting their skeletons to act as distractions. Everyone else was clearly tiring however and, even from afar, Zenith could see how the others were beginning to slip up. 

One girl came dangerously close to having her head lopped off simply because she hadn't seen the opponent coming until the last second. 

Just as the situation seemed dire and the other Black Widows were on the verge of falling, a sudden burst of energy erupted from the bar's entrance.

Syneris emerged, dashing into the street like a lightning bolt.
