The Lady in Black, Part Ten

In the dimly lit dungeon, amidst the echoes of battle, Emi listened intently as the woman outlined her plan.

"Listen," she began, her voice steady despite the chaos around them. "It's not this dungeon that I need help with. I want to use you as bait outside this dungeon. I need to gather some information, and you're gonna help me do that." 

Emi's hands shook a bit. 

She was used to running away from danger. Now, this woman was volunteering her to step into it on purpose. 

"But what if something goes wrong?"

"Then, I'll help you out... Probably."

The woman replied confidently, her focus returning to their surroundings as she dispatched another group of creatures with swift strikes.

Emi remained unconvinced but nodded reluctantly, realizing she didn't have much choice in the matter. 

As the battle subsided momentarily, the woman turned her attention back to Emi.
