After the students left the training ground, they were about to head to their destination, when they were suddenly blocked by a pale youth of tall height.
The youth was put on the academy uniform, he had long brown hair which was tied in a ponytail style, and he stood in front of all of them with a not-so-friendly smile on his face.
Meanwhile, when the students saw the youth, they glanced at one another before then staring back at the youth. "How may we help you?!" Alice asked.
With the help of Savannah, they were all able to get back on their feet and were looking forward to recuperating, when the brown-haired youth appeared in front of them. It wasn't only the youth who had a not-so-friendly smile on his face, the students frowned when he came in front of them.
"It's quite strange, isn't it?!" Xavier said, then paused. He stared at the other students who were passing the area, and his eyebrows arched in a surprise, "I… I don't think they can see us." Xavier muttered.
Xavier's words sent his classmates into a disturbed state, as they stared at the students who were passing by, some of them even went to the length of calling them, but their efforts were all fruitless.
Apparently, the other students couldn't see any of them.
They soon gave up and glared at the youth in front of them as regardless of how loud they raised their voice, there was no response from any of the students.
A chuckle, however, escaped the lips of the youth, "Yes, they are unable to see you. But, not to worry that's only for the meantime, so long as we get what we want, then there wouldn't be any problem with us." The youth said.
The expression which was on the faces of the students became stern when they heard the youth, a few of them were about to take a step back when a soft feminine voice rang out.
"Don't fool around!"
A second after those words were spoken, a woman appeared in front of the year-1 elite division students.
The woman was of average height, slender build, with black-length, blood-red hair. She had a white veil on that completely covered her face, and the academy uniform which she was putting on hugged her body tight.
"You are still in the academy, and for a matter of fact at the front of the training ground. They are not able to see or hear any of you because we don't want them to." The woman said.
As the woman spoke, she extended her palm towards the youth beside her, who then handed her an envelope, "We are members of the student's council, and having completed your first training session, the tradition of the academy says we have to present you all your first mission."
When the students heard the woman's words, their mouths opened slightly, and a startled look could be seen on the faces of a few of them.
The student council in the academy was on a whole different level, possessing powers and authority that even far surpassed that of the teachers. They had control over the students in the school, freely giving and taking power from any of the students and in some cases even teachers.
Ruling the academy with an iron fist, the student council demanded complete obedience, and those who didn't follow their rules were executed, with no one stopping them.
"I should congratulate you for coming out of the first level of the hellfire domain alive, but that would be a waste of our time. And time isn't what we have!" The woman said.
"Pass it over to them, Ves," Ves was the pale youth who was standing beside the woman, and the instant he heard her, he walked towards the students, handling each one of them a piece of paper from the brown envelope
The students went ahead, and read the paper in their hands, and a moment later, they raised their heads, staring at the woman and Ves with a bewildered expressions on their faces.
"The Bass family is one of the richest families in the world. With properties, business, empires, and even possessing a wide range of connections all over the globe." As the woman spoke, some of the students had eyes on the paper in their hands, while others were staring at her.
"They are well known for their charities and donations, the family had even founded a non-profit organization that raised over two hundred million noxus to help improve the standard of living of the nonmetahuman in the world.
"And this family is going to be the first mission, you would be handling… In your hands is everything you need to know about the Bass family and let me inform you. The academy isn't sending you there to go pay your greetings, instead, we want a complete wipeout of the Bass family."
"I want you all to handle the job without leaving any indication about it. I want their annihilation to be flawless, and to make sure that they isn't a soul left in the family," The woman uttered in a cold voice.
The woman gave the students a few seconds to assimilate the information, before then saying, "You have a four-day deadline to get the job done. Do not disappoint us!!!"
The threat which was contained in her voice this time around was completely obvious to the students.
"What is the Bass family offense?!" Elisa boldly asked.
There was complete silence after Elisa's voice rang out, she was being stared at by the woman and Ves, and a few of her classmates were also staring at her, wondering what the hell she was thinking.
"Good question!" The woman responded. "The saying 'Not all that glitters is gold' is very much applicable to the Bass family."
"The charity and donation is a front which the Bass family use to give the public a positive image of them and allow them to dismiss the rumors about them. The Bass family is no family of politicians, instead, they are a notoriously ruthless human trafficking organization."
"And they don't only specialize in human trafficking, and people smuggling, but also selling and transplanting the organs of their victims."
"Every year, it is reported that close to a hundred thousand humans fall victim to the Bass family. And last year was the peak of it, as the Bass family shifted their eyes towards children."
Killing intent flashed in the majority of the students when they heard the woman. Though they wouldn't consider themselves saints, they were still at a level to which they wouldn't stoop to.
This was perhaps one of the reasons why they were on bad terms with the murderer division.
"Truthfully, we aren't the only ones who have eyes on the Bass family, but unlike the rest who end up being bribed, we are going to be getting the job done."
"To put a family-like Bass family away, those assholes believe they have to provide evidence of the work. Evidence?" The woman jested, "We are deemed as the bad guys because we do not follow the rules, I say screw their shitty rules, and have the bass family dyed in blood!!"
A battle spirit seemed to have ignited in the woman's body as she spoke, her hands were clenched into her fists, and it couldn't help but feel as though she wished to head to the Bass family herself
Meanwhile, the students were staring at her with a rather amused look on their faces, it wasn't every day they got to see one of the top students in the academy in this state.
"Ah-Ahem…" The woman regained her composure when saw their looks. "I want the Bass family to be a name of the past," She said and was about to move when the youth whispered into her ear.
"I almost forget, I believe you must have all prepared a description of the costumes you want. You can now send it to the administration block, and if you haven't, do so and get it over to the block before tomorrow."
"You will have the costumes delivered to your doorstep a day before the mission. Good Day!" With that said, the woman turned around, then walked at a steady pace.
Ves gave the students a wink and thumbs up before he ran toward the woman.
The students, however, remained in position, it was only after a few minutes that the voice of one of them sounded. "Hey!!! They can see us now," Jackson said, pointing toward the student who was glaring at them.
"I better go finish up the greatest costume of all time… See ya suckers~!" Sean exclaimed.
After Sean left, the rest of the students soon began to leave one after the other. Aiden created a portal, and his crew walked into it, while the others strolled to their destination.
