18 The First Kiss!

{1st POV, Ethan}

"Grandma! … I want to go into the thousand monster island."

I pleaded with her, only to be met with a terrifying stare. Now, time for the mission impossible!

The island of thousand monsters. This massive island, also known as the Monster Paradise, is located at the very end of the west sea. The island is riddled with monsters, and it is said that it dates back to the ancient era. The cause for the monsters' presence in the region is very unique as well. According to legend, the island is the remnant of a vast patch of land. The ancient war annihilated the rest of the island, leaving only this massive island.

It's also intriguing to learn why only monsters reside here. Deep within the island exists a resentful core. According to legend, this is because too many ancient powerhouses perished in the primal war, leaving behind a legacy of regret and resentment. Which manifested into this one-of-a-kind existence; the resentful core. This core affects the entire island, converting normal beasts into berserk monsters. Regular people's minds are unaffected by the core since they are conscious. Nevertheless, are the claims true or not is still a mystery.

This island became a training ground for fighting maniacs over time. Thousands of courageous warriors have come from all over the endless sea to put their skills to the test on the island of a thousand monsters.

I was interested in purchasing a technique related to chaos magic. However, the price is absurdly exorbitant, and I don't have enough AP to purchase it. While I lack the necessary KP, I am able to farm them; nonetheless, collecting AP is considerably more difficult than farming KP. To get more KP, all I have to do is kill a lot of monsters. And the perfect location to do so is on the island of a thousand monsters.

"You better have a valid reason, if you want me to let you go."

Tiamat asked with a frown. Surprisingly, She didn't freak out as usual. Still, it was better the way.

"I want to improve my magic, and in order to do so, I'll need to gain more experience with it. I'd like to travel to that island to further my magical training. There are numerous monsters to contend with."

"....."

"Please... "

"Humm... Sigh! "

"Okay, I permit you. You can go there."

To my delight, she permitted me. Even though, she looks very reluctant. Still, I can go, that's what is important.

"I know that you are strong, but still try not to get in danger, okay! The monsters, there will not stop attacking, till they die or you get hurt."

She warns me and kissed me, on the cheeks coupled with a bear hug. She is warm, I can feel she is truly worried for my sake. I felt happy and too quickly hugged her in return.

"Um, I'll be fine."

I know, I just raised a flag. Whatever I can use space magic to teleport, I have enough magic to do so at least 5 times. Furthermore, if necessary, I will purchase a teleportation ruin from the system in order to flee.

"So, when do you want to go?"

Tiamat questions me.

"I plan to rest for a week before, I depart."

"Alright, you deserve it. Don't push yourself, too hard. Granny, always got your back."

She said with a gentle smile, which brought a smile to my face as well. Even if others think, those words are only for encouragement. I know the truth, she really meant it, word by word. She is omniscient in the endless sea, after all.

We left the training grounds and returned to the palace after that. Alizée is the only one present; apart from the two of us, she is the only one who stays here. Tiamat has no attendants; thus the palace is eerily quiet. She lived alone here until I was born since she, spent most of her time asleep. Apep used to, usually came to feed me when I was a kid, but she too doesn't visit as often as she used to. I can't blame her, she still has a kingdom to run. As a result, Alizée, my maid, is now the only one who lives here.

"Master is it true? Are you really going to the thousand monsters island?"

Upon, learning about my decision to leave for the thousand monsters island. Alizée enters my room while running.

"Yes, I have to gain more experienced, if I want to create my own, magical spells."

I replied to her, in a calm tone.

"But, do you truly have to go on that specific island? I heard, the monsters there are a lot more crazy, and there are a lot of them too."

She expressed her concern in her words. In her eyes, I can see a glimmer of hope. So, she is trying to intimidate me into changing my mind.

"Yes, I'm aware of this fact. Still, I want to go there."

I said with determination. Letting her understand, I will not back down. As I expected, her face dimmed and she eyed me, like a lost Kitty.

"But, don't worry. I will take care of myself, and I won't go too deep."

With a lovely smile, I reassured her. Over the last two years, Alizée and I have become very close. She's much more honest with me now, and she expresses her emotions as well. She is, however, still reluctant to reveal her love for me. Yes, I am aware of her feelings for me. Her status moved from maid to lover as the system changed it and I was notified. She still won't say anything, and I realise that she isn't ready. Her shyness, on the other hand, will be tough to overcome. If she wishes, I can allow her to take more time. To be honest, I've become very fond of her as well. She is calm, hardworking, friendly, and absolutely gorgeous, and I consider myself fortunate to have her as my maid. As a result, I pretend to be unconcerned with her feelings.

"Can I, ... go with you? Master."

she inquired, in hushed tones. Her objectives switched from preventing me to tagging along.

"No! I understand you don't like fighting. Moreover, there will be dangers I might not be able to cope with while protecting both of us."

I immediately turned her down. It may come across as harsh, but she will be a true burden. I have another purpose for visiting that particular island. Tiamat is prevented from observing anything by the so-called resentful core. She can still detect where I am and teleport if she so desires. However, because her vision is impeded, I am able to apply all of my techniques without her noticing. She'll only be able to tell what kind of magic I'm employing, but she won't be able to see my movements.

The other reason is that Alizée isn't a particularly skilled fighter. She is undeniably powerful as a true dragon and storm mage. But, she isn't used to fighting, though. If we ever find ourselves in a position when we must fight hundreds of monsters, she would get in the way.

Her eyes watered as she lowered her head. She burst into tears. I sighed, knowing she could be a cry baby at times.

"Okay, fine! Don't get upset. I'll be fine and will be back soon. Even so, I'm not taking you with me. Whatever happens, I'm not gonna take you with me. I fear, what if something awful happens to you and I lose you?"

As I hugged her in my arms, I said softly. I can still see the small teardrops at the corner of her eyes after she had stopped crying and glanced at me in astonishment.

"M-master! Y-you, a-are worried about me...wh-why? Umm... "

Instead of responding, I kissed her on the lips. Her lips were soft and sweet, also fresh as if some exotic fruit. She gasped a little in surprise because the kiss was only a few seconds long, and it wasn't a passionate kiss, but rather a gentle one. She came to a pause in her speech as the kiss enchanted her. She just kept staring at me, as I kept looking directly at her face, which had turned bright red from embarrassment and a little excitement.

"Wh-what... A-are... Y-y you, d-doing master...!!"

She spoke while stammering, as she kept her head down, refusing to meet my gaze. I found her actions very cute.

"As I said, I care about you. I love you Alizée."

I decided to strike while the iron was still hot, and I told her how I felt. Now is as good a time as any; however, if I let her take the lead, it may take a few more years for her to express her feelings.

Her body jerks up, as she listened to my sudden confession. She glanced straight towards my face, with wide eyes. The room fell silent, as we continue to only stare at each other, no words were said. Ultimately, Alizée lost the battle between our eyes and glanced sideways.

"It's not fair..."

She whispers while leaning her head on my chest.

"Huh...? What is unfair?"

I questioned her out of curiosity.

"You are the unfair master. I love you too and, for a long time. I wanted to propose first. Yet, you confessed before me. You cheated, it's not fair!"

Alizée pouted and grumbled, feigning displeasure. She's only earning a snicker from me right now because she's being way too cute. I can't stop myself from hugging her even more tightly and brushing her Azur long hair with my palm.

"Ohh...! So I take that as you accept my proposal?"

"Yes!! I-I a-also l-love m-m-master."

I smiled as she confessed her emotions for me, which she expressed with tremendous embarrassment. I was tempted to harass, her even more because of her nervousness, but I restrained since I didn't want to ruin the beautiful smile on her lips. She appears to be in a good mood.

"S-so, m-master c-can y-you d-do t-that, t-thing a-again?"

"What thing are you talking about?"

I can tell, what thing she wants to do. But, I decided to hear from her mouth.

"The t-thing, w-we j-just d-did."

She still refuses to say the words directly.

"What thing?"

I inquired again, acting oblivious to her intentions.

"T-the k-ki-kiss..., c-can y-you k-kiss m-me again..."

"So, you wanted to kiss you again? My Alizée is so naughty ~"

I said in a teasing grin.

"N-no...ahh~"

I sealed our lips without wasting any time. Her lips are soft and delicious, like spring fruits, and they touch mine. I began sucking and licking her lips this time, kissing her with more passion. She first allowed me to do anything I pleased. But she quickly began nibbling my lips and wrapping her arms over my neck as well. I warped my arm around her waist, causing her breasts to crash against my chest, bringing us closer together. Her nipples are already a little hard, which indicates that she is arousing.

"Ahh~ ah~..."

We continued, kissing like this for a while, with her uttering low moans, that drove me more hornier. I, therefore, chose to go take it a step further and insert, my tongue into her mouth. Alizée stiffened, as a result of my gesture, and she paused kissing me. Regardless, I started pushing, my tongue forward, and soon discovered her reluctant tongue. After that, I began yanking on her tongue, attempting to force it out and transform our kiss into an obscene tongue battle.

Her tongue gets, pushed to stick out as a result of my, constant invasion. After her tongue was out, I began to wrestle with it. Because her saliva is similarly sweet, I kept sucking her as our drool began to fall to the floor. As the sound of slurping and Alizée's moans filled the room.

I don't know how long we kissed, but it was a long time. When Alizée and I parted ways. We didn't say anything as we were both staring at each other. Her admiration for me is evident in her stare, which is full of passion and love, letting me know she truly loves me.
