24 Chapter 24: Clan Symbol

Rosario walked over to Andromina and asked if he had any made yet. Nodding she handed him 4 vellums with odd runic script writing on them. Giving him a few instructions she sent him away so she could concentrate on finishing the rest.

"To make the contract work it needs blood from all parties signing it. As these are two party contracts you will see at the bottom there are two spots that are blank, the first person to add their blood will be the contractee, while the second person will be the contractor. If there is already a symbol be careful to not add your blood mindlessly to the contract or you might be the contractor on accident."

Looking at the bottom of the pages Rosario saw two blank spots that looked like they should have writing in them. Glancing at Tormund, Rosario tried reading the script, surprisingly he was able to understand it. It was written quite plainly, basically the contractor agrees to keep the secrets about the cave of the contractee, no matter what the consequences are.

Looking at Andromina, Rosario asked. "If all this needs is blood what is to stop people from walking around with a binding contract and a knife and cutting unsuspecting people and dabbing this in their blood?"

Glancing at him and sighing at the interruption she answered. "It requires the other party to agree, also blood freely given like that has a signature that is yours. This is how the contracts work."

Nodding Rosario walked off with Tormund hot on his heels.

"Tormund, if these contracts require the other party to agree how would anyone ever sign a slave one."

Glancing at Rosario, Tormund answered. "Because people do some very terrible things to others, and to make it stop they sign the contract. Of course, in my opinion at that point they would have been better off dead. However, that's only for the most powerful of individuals, most slaves are 3rd evolution or below and aren't under a contract but in chains and under supervision."

Sighing Rosario shook his head and vowed to never allow that in the Empire he would create. Pricking his thumb with his bowie that Sigurd had returned he smeared blood onto the four contracts. Thankfully he had squeezed out enough blood in time as the cut closed very quickly.

As the blood hit the contracts, the blank area for the contractee to sign began swirling with a Black and Gold light. A symbol began taking shape on the vellum, the symbol was an intricate design that pulled one's attention to it. The black in the symbol felt like it pulled you in while the gold felt like it cleansed your soul.

The symbol was centered on what looked like a Lugged Hewing Spear, however the whole spear was made of gold and the spear tip was a 5-pointed star. Where the Shaft began were protrusions pointing out either side of the shaft and behind these protrusions was a small sun. Crossing with the middle spear a third of the way down the shaft were another two spears each at a 45-degree angle. The heads of these two spears were a trident with the outer spikes having a scythe-like curve to them. Halfway down the middle spears shaft was another set of spears coming out at 45-degree angles and going across the whole symbol. All the crossing spears were held by 6 obsidian black arms that went to the mid forearm. On either side of the spears were golden Greek sculpture heads facing out and there were 6 golden wings, 3 on either side of the symbol, and 4 black wings intertwined with the golden wings. (Going to attach Imaging. Or trying to at least.)

Seeing the symbol a smile blossomed onto Rosarios face as he felt proud at seeing this. Tormund, who had watched everything was also smiling. "When a person uses their blood to sign a contract the symbol of their race will appear on the contract. For those of you who are recognized by the collective as Nobles, your clan's symbol will be shown."

"I never have seen this symbol in my life, how would it be my clans' symbol?"

"Contracts connect to your soul through the blood you drop on them, you basically allow the contract to see a tiny portion of your soul. With this it creates an image that best suits you."

Nodding Rosario began walking towards the others again. "Well, it's not wrong, I absolutely love the symbol, we will use this image as a symbol of our Empire. I want to see this on a Blood Red banner if and when we march to war."

Upon reaching the fire that the others were sitting around Rosario requested Ivana and Bolog follow him and Tormund. Bolog just got up and followed along without a care in the world while Ivana wondered what was going on.

Reaching a little ways away from the fire Rosario turned and looked at 3 pairs of eyes staring back at him. Tossing them contracts he had already signed with is blood he stated. "If you want to become stronger than all others sign these contracts, they are so you cannot reveal my secrets to anyone."

Tormund was the first to sign the contract. Without second thought he requested Rosarios knife and with a prick of his finger he allowed the blood to drop onto the contract.

Once the second image appeared on the contract, it floated out of Tormund's hands and began burning with a purple fire. In just seconds it was reduced to ashes. Rosario could feel that something had changed and could instinctively tell the contract was in place. For Tormund it was a little different as he felt as if a small chain attached to his very being, he could feel it wasn't restricting in any way so long as he followed what was set in the agreement.

Bolog looked at Tormund for a prolonged half a minute until he took the knife from Tormund and signed the contract also.

Seeing Ivana's hesitation Tormund made eye contact with her before doing his best to convince her it was worth it.

"Look Ivana I know our two races have never gotten along, but I am telling you what Rosario has to tell and show us is definitely worth signing this contract. He is not requesting you give up your freedom, just don't talk about what he is going to tell us with others who have not signed the agreement."

Sighing Ivana looked up at Rosario. Seeing his eyes through the mask staring intensely back at her she mumbled. "This better be worth it."

After Ivaana signed the contract, the four of them all seemed to breathe out a sigh of relief. "Good, now that, the boring part is over I can get this off my chest."

"Tormund knows this but you both do not, when I first arrived on this planet around 10 or so days ago , I was human. In fact, I was human till yesterday."

Seeing the puzzled look on Ivana's face Rosario continued.

"Before summoning my first summon." He gestured at Tormund, who visibly puffed out his chest. "I wandered into the cave over there by the gate."

"The one you said you'd kill us if we went into."

"Correct, that one. Well, I wandered into there seeing what I would find and to my surprise I found what I had thought was a normal underground pond. Unfortunately, or I guess now fortunately I fell into that pond. When I hit the water's surface and submerged I experienced the worst pain I had ever felt in my life. Subconsciously I heard the system in my head going crazy with notices, but I was in too much pain and trying not to drown to pay them any attention."

Pausing to look at his 3-person audience, Rosario was happy to see even Bolog was not paying rapt attention.

"I eventually lost consciousness while trying to get back to the surface. I am not sure what happened after that, but I was unconscious for hours, probably days even as I came too floating in the water on my back. It was after getting out of the water and summoning Tormund that he told me I did not look like any human he had seen. Checking my race in my screen I found he was right I was no longer human but what was called a Celestial Asura. Apparently I am the prefect mix of Asura and Diva, with all the perks and none of the downsides."

Ivana was the most stunned, she had felt the familiar aura of one of her kind on Rosario this whole time but had ignored it as he did not look like any Diva she had ever seen.

"What about what you said to me earlier, when you dropped that boulder on me and walked away?"

"Oh yeah, so as I was reading the messages I received after evolving into a Celestial Asura, one of them caught my eye. It said something about owning a natural treasure or something like that. Either way the main take was that I can use the pond to evolve others into Celestial Asuras."

"WHAT?!"

Ivana's shout reverberated and everyone on the plateau all looked in the quartet's direction. Even Bolog wasn't indifferent anymore but seemed extremely intrigued.

"There is no need to yell, the reason I am telling you 3 is because after listening to Tormund tell me how many stats each person gets from leveling up I believe you will receive more stats if you evolve to Celestial Asuras before becoming level 1. Also, I know your emotions are currently dulled to one another, but I don't need a bunch of Asuras and Divas starting fights all the time. I want a united people; I am not saying everyone will be allowed to become a Celestial Asura but I want the core of our nation to become them. Together we will rise as a Universal Power."

"When you say more stats, what do you mean?"

"I myself just leveled up to 1, I gained 10 status points."

Seeing the shock on all of their faces, Rosario smirked under the mask. "I am offering to allow all of you to use the pond to evolve, it is up to you 3 to convince the other 7."
