The Truth About the Facility
Lyle followed after the gray-cloaked man and went down. The wall behind them immediately shifted back and set itself in place, making it seem as if nothing had changed from the outside.
Inside, however, Lyle was following the man as lights suddenly appeared, even though Lyle would have been fine without them. The lights looked like crystals embedded in the ceiling, but instead of looking like normal crystals, they were shaped in a square, the only thing Lyle didn't know was whether the crystals were cubes that were placed inside the ceiling, or if they were thin like plates and were just glued on top of it.
That didn't matter, however, as the man reached the end of the staircase in about 14 seconds. A large steel door was in front and the man grabbed it before twisting the handle and opening it. The moment he did so, Lyle actually had to clench his fist to control himself as the stench of blood assaulted him.
