Materials and Evolution

After double checking his quest, Echo decided to continue his hunt on the hop-goblins to fully complete the things he needed for evolving his legs and gaining poison resistance.

Currently he only need four more leg muscle of the hop-goblin, with a bit of luck he didn't take much time hunting compared earlier so he decided to return first to the town and gather all the necessary materials he needed before going on a adventure and finding more about Captain Crag's Crew.

Following the tunnel he used during the chase, Echo went first to the gathering spots for the materials use in trap making, alchemy, and pharmacy.

The area surrounding leifhandor is bountiful in regards to the different kinds of herb. there are bramble vines which he used for the flickering poison flower, toxic cauliflower gain resistance to poison to their body once processed.

There are also some things like a healing leaflets or mana dew in which is a primary ingredient for the basic medicinal pills and potions.

Many Materials can be found within leifhandor, but some of them are only accessible through the underground tunnel.

Although there are a bunch of materials here, Echo didn't dare to hoard items because the townsfolk may get mad if you take too much of their resources.

So what Echo did is that he only gather all the things he really needed and nothing more.

First on this list is the Soul Screaming Mandragora to further enhance his ability once fused, since the nature of his beast is sound base.

Next is the materials for status increasing drugs in which his focus will be on mana increase and regeneration. Lastly a couple of materials necessary on making traps.

Echo begun gathering this materials first before proceeding any further. After collecting the materials he needed, Echo then proceed to collect Golden Mint Leaves.

The Golden Mint Leaves is the most common form of currency here in the Land of Dyr. It's luster can either be bronze, silver and gold depending on the age, bronze is the lowest and a hundred of this leaves is equivalent to a silver, same also with the gold.

Legend says that this leaves can provide energy to the holder that's why it became popular and started to become a natural currency of the land.

Reaching the gathering point for the leaves Echo became bold and started getting primarily the highest quality ones. "okay four silver and fifty two bronze I think that's enough for now and just return later."

Before exiting the area Echo scouted the area first to check if there's anything he left out. While walking in the middle of the patches Echo accidentally stepped on a pouch with seeds inside.

"Everything is in my hand now all i need is to choose the best SGR for me so that I can properly adjust my stats."

Opening the list for the Soul Genetic Reagents Echo first look in the category for the rabbit type of beasts.

boosted the senses of the user by having the Ears of Hearing Pelican

Echolocation - Searches the enemy through sound.

After looking in the rabbit class Echo proceeded and check the sound based Soul Genetic Reagent.

a plant type demonic beast that is known for mimicking the roars of a powerful beast to Intimidate his targets before eating them.

Intimidating Roar - Produces a loud roar to intimidate the surrounding enemies.

Roar of Defiance - Roars loudly to remove status ailments

[Vibrating Heart of a phasing demon]

Vibration that spreads throughout the body and can penetrate anything if the vibration reaches a certain speed.

Vibrating Stab - Vibrates the hand as the attack penetrates through the target

Phasing - vibrates the body fast to phase through walls

looking on the list Echo is yet to decide what he want. "should i go with the ghost shroud?" the ghost shroud is the SGR that he used for his hedgehog back during beta.

It's primary effects is that it can grant the user a cloak to hide while in the middle of the battle. a perfect tool for a pathfinder who frequently uses ambush to fight his opponents, however getting this early may cut any other evolution line as this thing will requires the user to only used shadow base SGR to further strengthen it's effects.

Annoyed as he was unable to decide properly he then scroll the list powerfully making it look like a roulette spinning

As the scrolling stops Echo was curious and decided to check what is the effects of the Genetic Reagent that fates brings him.

[Soul of Taiko the Drummer]

Taiko a young orphan boy who received the Heavenly thunder Bachi and awaken a part of the thunder god in his own soul, from then on the young orphan began his adventure to find seven drums of storm and calamity to gain power and complete the soul of the thunder god.

+10 to all stats (+40 after finishing the trials)

lightning spirit drum - summons a spiritual drum and each strike will summon a lightning hitting a random enemy in the area. (100 mana each strike)

spiritual possession - allows the spirit of thunder to temporarily possess your body, boosting your stats by 50 (more stats can be added once completed the seven drums of storm and calamity {500 mana per second)

7 drums of storm and calamity - complete all of the seven drums to unleash the full potential of taiko's soul.

"woah! this is interesting, +50 to all stats and there's this elemental god possession as well" Looking at the SGR that fate bought him, Echo couldn't help but be amazed.

This kind of boost at the early stage and it's potential for the late game is what he's been looking for. "If I manage to complete the seven drums that is mentioned here, then that will be overpowered!"

Filled with excitement echo immediately began in completing the evolution process.

Evolving in this game is necessary in order for you to gain more power, as such not having to do it will only narrow down all the possibility of being the strongest.

A genetic evolution will occur once every ten levels and will only allow you to evolve one part of the body. Each evolution will have a certain milestone the first one is at level 10 while the second is at level 50 and every fifty levels after that is considered as a milestone.

Every milestone reached will allow someone to evolve at least three parts of their body. the rationale for this is that the body of a beast might not be able handle a sudden increase in power thus having to fortify the body before every milestone is a must.
