Meanwhile, in a different part of the imperial city where the lands were owned by one of the top five families, a figure clad in a black cloak was sneaking towards the huge mansion in the middle of the night.
Even though there were guards, they couldn't seem to detect the aura of the figure, nor did the barrier seem to block them.
Even with a cloak on, one could see that the person wearing it was not that tall, nor did they have a big body frame.
The cloaked figure soon sneaked its way around the mansion until they reached an open window as if the owner of the room was inviting someone to jump through it.
Without any hesitation, the cloaked figure jumped inside through the window big enough to fit a person.
