Veiled Mamba winced even more, and her eyes became resolute as if she finally decided on something.

Damien knew she had some suicide mechanism installed in her body in case she got captured, and he didn't stop her.
He didn't mind even if she died since he can just use his Shackles of Death to get whatever information he wants.
His soul energy started to burn since Veiled Mamba was dead, and he needed to hold her soul in place not to let it escape.
