"This is insane."

Ryker scanned the place that was about to become a battlefield. The number of guards present was 5 times larger than the guards they defeated to get here.

The majority of the guards were armed with either low-grade magical weapons or Astro techs sponsored by the association. A minority were seen carrying weapons forged with Fellium ore.

The biggest issue wasn't the guards, but the man leading them.

"I don't need any sensory abilities to tell he's strong," Ryker said to himself. "Is it because of my Black astral awakening?"

It was true that since awakening his black astral, his battle senses have improved.

"Are you getting cold feet?" Ming asked.

Ryker responded with a smirk. "Me? Cold feet? I'll be honest, a few months ago, I'll be shitting my pants if I was in the same situation. But that's then and this is now. If anything, these chumps should be the ones getting cold feet."
