Chapter 3 - Human

Running with a group of people through the forest. Everyone is out of breath. They can't stop now before a horde of brutes come running to them.

"Don't stop now! We're almost there!" Jun announces; everyone running. After Jun has told everyone to stop, Jun frozed. The rest stops along with Jun. They all see a black figure again.

"Don't make a single sound!" Kyle shouted quietly at the crowd, warning everyone. They all look down at the floor, slowly walking pass the kaimog in fear.

The crowd all quietly move pass the kaimog. After Eungi and Jun were far enough to start speaking, Eungi begins explaining "It's a kaimog" Eungi says.

"Yeah?" Jun asked.

"Yes, we believe their kind is in the Dark Dimension, also known as Kaimog Dimension, but Dark is most common" Eungi explained.

Jun slowly looks forward with a confused face.

"Dark Dimension?" Jun asks Eungi.

"Yes, the kaimogs are from the Dark Dimension. What is the Dark Dimension, you might be asking. It's a different realm from this planet. Dark and Empty. We believe that if we find all the books of kaimogs, we can find the maps and find the portal to the dark dimension. We can go straight to the underground mineshaft and to the portal to the dimension" Eungi explains.

"Why would we want to go there?" Jun asks.

Eungi thought about his sentence and then spoke out "The Kaimog Dragon. It's been taking the Druzel's and every living thing on this planet's life for immortality"

Jun's eyes widened.

"The Dragon has been taking people's life away and using it to make him live longer, we call this the Soul Abstracter, and it's an ability that the Dragon possesses. We've all been so scared of the Dragon taking our lives. So we're planning on stopping and killing the Dragon, but we can't anymore, the Doomgaders have stolen all of our stuff" Eungi explained one more time.

Jun looks at Eungi. Jun thinks of the Dragon "What if I did it?"

"What?" Eungi says.

Jun repeats one more time "What if I killed the Kaimog Dragon?"

RISE OF IZUZUNU

VOLUME 1, CHAPTER 3, HUMAN

DOOM BRIGADE PRIME BASE

"What is do you want?" Lord Piller asks his guards.

"That's not proper English-" the guard tried to speak, but Piller shouted louder "What is do you want!!?"

They have a list of all the nations on this planet "Look at the list"

Piller points to an unfamiliar name.

"Izuzunu? No idea. Probably a new kingdom. We overheard the leader talking about starting a new nation, so we thought we should just put it on our list of nations" The guards answered Lord Piller.

"Empire of Izuzunu, huh?" Piller says to himself.

He thinks of looting their little town just like how he did it to the recent villagers.

"Axers!" Lord Piller shouted at the Axers.

The Axers are a different group of the Doom Brigade, they fight their opponent with an axe. The Axers enters Lord Piller's Domain.

"What can I do for you, Lord Piller?" The both Axers asked while kneeling down.

Piller stands up off his throne "I want you to take a group of Archerers and Axers with you to Izuzunu, spy on them for at least 3 days"

"Yes, Lord Piller!" The Axers jump up and salutes to Lord Piller, with their right knuckles pointing against the side of their head.

That is a Doom Brigade Salute.

"Ok.. Go Now!" Lord Piller shouted as the Axers dash out of the building.

Orone Kradnoom, the Leader of the Axers and Piller's friend, enters the building "Hey there Piller!"

"What is it?" Piller asked.

They then have a short conversation about what they should eat for dinner.

The Doom Brigade splits into three families, the higher royale family are the Kradnooms, which involves Piller and his children because they have the powers of Shard Generation and

IZUZUNU

"I just realized something.." Jun smiled "I don't have houses for you guys yet"

The Druzels all stared at him in disappointment "What?"

"It's okay! I got an idea!" Jun shouted.

He thought about digging a cave and making them sleep there for now. Their temporary house.

"So this is it?" Eungi said, looking at the entrance of the caves.

"Don't worry, there's no brutes, so you won't die" Jun smiled.

They all go inside the caves and Jun gives them food.

"I'm Edison Cheng" Edison, a teenager who looks like a human with black hair and brown eyes "I've never told you, but I'm also a human being" Edison reveals to Jun.

Jun stands up from feeding an old villager and raises his hands "Everyone!... Raise your hands if you're a human in here"

Edison, Mikey, Kyle, and a girl raises their hands in the room. Jun walks over to the little girl. She looked about the age of 8 and has black hair with brown eyes.

He kneels down "What's your name?"

She looks at Jun, mostly frightened.

"There's no need to be scared, I just want to know. We're all in the same team here-" The girl stops Jun.

"I know" She spoke "My name is Melanie Suzuki; I'm a human too. I woke up in the middle of the woods, then I came to this village just like the rest of you"

"This is weird" Jun realized "Why is every human on this planet... waking up in the middle of nowhere.... and... why does the last name, Suzuki, sound so familiar to me?.."

"Anyways, Melanie and Edison, come with me" Jun leaves the Druzel's cave.

Soon Jun stops, he sees George running from the caves.

"Jun!" George yelled while running; he is out of breath "There's something in that cave!" He spoke out very fast.

"There is something in there! I swear! It looked weir-" George broke off his sentence as Jun replied "Wait- Wait- Wait. What.. is it?"

George slowed down his breathing "It looks like a portal... to another dimension"

Jun slowly turns his head to the Druzel's house; he looks at Eungi.

"The Dark Dimension" Jun says to himself.

"We can't go there yet, it's dangerous" Jun tells George.

"What!!?" George yelled.

"First I need to find out why every human on this planet woke up without remembering anything" He says as he walks toward his house.

"You don't even want to see it.. yet?" George mumbled at the end of his sentence as Jun walks away.

Jun is more focused onto the secrets of this world than the portal.

George calls out Mikey's name "Mikey, I need to show you something" he said to Mikey.

They both started walking to the caves. The sun slowly goes down as it gets darker.

"We can't mine right now, it's too dark" Mikey warns George.

"No, we're not mining. I saw something" He said.

Mikey hears a sound behind the bushes "See! You alerted a zombie!"

George shouted out, "Shit!"

A girl appears in their vision as they both screamed "Aah!!"

The girl is dirty and is wearing what looks like a frog beanie and a light green warm jacket, she is 13 and has black hair with brown eyes like the rest of the humans, except Mikey.

"Who are you?" Mikey asks.

"Who are you!!?" She shouted back, waving a piece of rock at their faces.

"Woah! Chill bro! We're humans too!" Mikey shouted.

The girl stops and drops her rock "Why am I here?" She asks.

"Everyone, every single human on this planet is waking up here with their memories lost" Mikey explained.

The girl was shocked and surprised "Are you serious?"

"Duh" George says.

THE HOUSE

"Sit down" Jun says.

Both Edison and Melanie sits on a chair.

"Now I need you to explain to me. Who are you and what are you and everything about you" Jun wanted to know more about them because they're like Jun.

"My name is Melanie. I don't really remember anything from my past life, I only could remember this moment and a little bit of the day I woke up. I'm 8 years old"

"That's... that's so young" Jun says "Why would a young girl be out in the woods?"

"I don't know, well I'm Edison and I'm about 15 years old" Edison introduces himself.

"Why? Why are-" Jun suddenly stopped speaking.

In Jun's memories, all he could see is airships and burning buildings; a lot of fire.

"Jun?" Edison tried to snap Jun out of it.

"All I could remember is an airship and.. fire" Jun said.

"So... maybe we were put here" Edison said.

Jun was surprised "That... tha might just be it-" The door suddenly opens and Mikey and George is standing at the doorsteps "Jun! We found someone in the woods" Mikey shouted.

The girl slowly walks inside the house "My name is Chloe" Chloe told Jun.

Another girl who looks like a human "Hmm"

THE NEXT DAY

The next day after the first night the Druzels stayed in Izuzunu. While the Druzels were building new houses, Jun and Eungi was walking around the new paths "Okay, So let me get this straight. Every human on this planet wakes up in the woods without remembering a single thing in their past except for their name, age, race, and language??" Eungi asked.

"It's as if someone erased your memories" Jun thought.

"Maybe" Jun walks into the cave, discovering Mikey and Edison inside it.

"Yo Jun! Look how many Diamonds we found!" Edison shouted out loud as he opens a bag full of bright glowy blue minerals. Jun is surprised while Eungi looked even more surprised.

"That much diamonds in the valley..." Eungi spoke out "No way!"

He couldn't believe that they've found about more than fifty diamonds in this single cave.

"Is it that rare?" Mikey asked.

"Yes!" Eungi shouted.

"You guys can be the richest country in the world if you keep finding those diamonds!" Eungi exclaimed.

"We found... the Diamond Valley"

A few hours later, Jun gathered a mining team with Mikey, George, Chloe, Edison, Kyle, Melanie, and ten other Druzels.

"Are you guys ready!" Jun shouted and smiled.

"Alright let's go" Kyle said.

The team heads into the darkness of the caves.

"Oh my god! Diamonds!" Chloe screamed.

Everyone runs to Chloe to see her mining the mineral.

Sooner or later "Diamonds!" "Diamonds!" "Diamonds!" "Diamonds!"

Diamonds were being spotted from almost everywhere.

From the distance in the shadows, lies the Axers from Lord Piller.

"How??" One of the Axers said in confusion.

"We have to report this to Lord Piller" Orone tells the others as they run towards the darkness back to the surface.

Jun and the rest comes out of the caves, wearing almost full diamond armor and tools. The other Druzels look at the team.

"Awesome!" The Druzels shouted as they run to Jun and them. They take out diamonds from their bags to share some with the rest.

"I think we can be rich if we keep this up" Kyle says.

Jun replies with "Yes.. yes we can"

Eungi grabs a piece of diamond ore "So... this is the Diamond Valley"

DOOM BRIGADE PRIME BASE

"Um.. Piller, We got a problem" Orone sighs

"Turn those problems into opportunities" Piller smiles while drinking his water.

Orone replies "Okay, We got an opportunity. Izuzunu's gonna be the richest country in the world"

Piller then spits out his water "The what!?" Piller shouted

"Back in Izuzunu, we followed the king and his team into the caves, and.. I think they've found over 100 diamonds"

Lord Piller nods his head "No way" He turns to look out the window "This is crazy! You're telling me that Izuzunu is right above the diamond valley!?"

"Yes, we believe. I think the diamond valley we've been looking for.. might be.. under Izuzunu"

Lord Piller pulls his head close to Orone "This is insane!"

IZUZUNU

"Alright George, show me what you've found yesterday" Jun commanded.

Jun, Mikey, George, and Eungi head to the cave system. Running through each path.

They stop at a corner "You will be shocked" George says.

They slowly walk into the large cave with lava and saw the portal. Mikey and Jun was amazed.

"That's the portal" Eungi looks at the portal.

"The Poxus Portal, it is very dangerous inside it" Eungi explained

"How so?" Jun asked.

"There are deadly brutes inside that dimension. Lava surrounding the lands of the poxus land and haunting screaming sounds of the omites" Eungi explained again.

Everyone looked at Eungi, but Jun asked "But we need to go in there to kill that Dragon, right?"

Eungi answered with yes. They turn back at the Poxus Portal.

Jun slowly walks to the Portal and so does the rest. They pull their diamond swords out.

Jun stood in front of the portal "Alright... let's find out what we're really up against"
