Studio (revised)
The next day, Amy woke up, got ready and finished the breakfast.She just did a minor makeup and waited for Richard to arrive. Richard arrived at Amy's gate at almost 9 am. She sat on the side seat and looked at Richard. He was looking happy today. Seeing her looking at him he asked :
"What's the matter?"
Amy replied: "I was thinking that you look good today. What's all this preparation for. I mean dress up? Isn't it just music video."
Amy never wanted to act in music videos. But that don't mean she doesn't want this job. If this helps her acting career, then she would give all of her best efforts. Acting means a lot to her.
"There is no law written that you can't
dress good and as fan, you have to
look presentable in front of your idols."
Hearing him, Amy smiled and it seems that Richard was also a fan of Backstreet Boys. Its not an uncommon thing. Craze of Back-Street boys at this time period is much more than any band out there. Richard said,
" We are going to Warner.Bros at Burbank. It's still early and the membera of Backstreet Boys rehearsed late till night."
"It's okay and I can wait and reherse". There's no bad in getting to know the rest of crew before the shoot even if its for a day or two. It helps you a lot on the set.
After all it will be her first time in front of the camera after a long time. So she has to prepare as not to make any mistakes and shows flaws. Movies never demand actors to be perfect, but music videos does.
Located twenty kilometers North of Los Angeles, Burbank is known as the media hub of the Hollywood. Not only the Warner Bros has a shooting base here but the famous Disney Walt studios is also located here, as well as NBC, ABC, and Viacom, etc. It is an important filming base of many of the studios. Many crew are filming in the studio everyday, especially some indoor sitcoms like " Friends ".
If you are lucky then maybe the crew of "Friends" is filming next door and you can meet Rachel, Monica and Chandler.
After Robert helped to register at the garage door, he went straight in. Amy saw neatly arranged studios that were larger than factories. From time to time, there were actors in costumes and staff carrying the equipments with them. The corner coffee shop is even the regular site for the filming of "Friends". Amy likes it here.
After arriving at studio 14, Richard walked in and Amy followed.
The whole studio is a bit empty and the crowd was concentrated in front of the futuristic rotating room and there were five boy's sitting in the room on sofas and there was also a middle-aged person talking to them.
Boys seems to be having a serious conversation with the man.
"Jeff, you already selected the girl for the the MV."
"Although it is Nick's solo but she still has to look fit with him on the screen. You can't give the role to anyone."
"What if they don't match and we have to shoot hastily because MV has to be released soon. "
"I am telling you that if she doesn't look good with Nick on the screen, then we will not take her in no matter what."
The man named Jeff assured the boys: I know it's important and I promise that you will be satisfied with it. Just trust me."
Although it is Nicks solo but all the boys are concerned about it because Nick is the youngest and the most doted one in the band.
Richard went towards them and said :
" Jeff. here I am. "
Jeff who is about 185 cm tall has a burly image and long hair. He said hello to Richard and asked looking at Amy brightly:
" Is it your artist we talked about? She is very beautiful."
"Yes she is Amy Collins. My new artist I just signed." Richard said " Does she meet your standard."
Looming at Amy, Jeff was really amazed because the girl looks more beautiful than the pictures. Such a beauty is the only one who can make a boy captive just after a first look.
