Preparations (revised)
Two days later, Amy received a call from Richard : "Audition is fixed for the next saturday, so be prepared for it and try to practice and perform well."
"Ok, I will be prepared by then. There are still five days for preparations." Amy replied.
She hung up the call and stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself in the mirror. In fact she has been practicing the script for the past few days. Standing in front of the mirror, she tried to recall all the Betty's emotions like her smile, her jealousy, her maddness, her nervousness and her confusion. She stopped herself from thinking about other things and focused herself completely as if imagining herself as Betty.
Amy kept going on until she received a call from the maid for the dinner. She stopped herself and went downstairs for dinner.

Friday, May 16, in the office building of Asymmetrical studios.
There was an audition going on and Amy was sitting outside the audition office holding the script of Mullholland drive. She knew that she was getting nervous but it was not because of having unconfidence in her acting skills but because of the fear of not being able to get the role.
This project is very important for her because having it can make her future career smooth.
Mullholland drive is not your traditional script. Its narrative order is not your conventional 123 one, but a non-linear method of 213. It makes audience unable to understand it properly so they watch it again and again to understand it.
In the first hour, audience follows the adventures of the two heroines and only after it they understand that it was a dream. The feeling of opening the mysteries and getting the answers and truth in the last half an hour is thrilling.
This film does not abide by the narrative structure and internal logic of traditional films at all. Its songs, photography, art and actors performance is simply a magic which makes it look like a multi layered dream, and this made David won the Cannes Film Festival awards, the best director trophy and Oscars nomination.
At the same time, this film also made Naomi watts popular, making her a proper movie star and a blonde sweetheart who captivated countless fans.
As she was lost in her thoughts, the girl from the audition office came out and looking at her expressions, it can be concluded that the audition didn't go well.
There was a sound of violent quarrel in the office as if a big battle was going on.
"I don't agree to change actors, Naomi and Laura are my ideal heroines."
"But we can't do anything about it David. It is Naomi herself who left the project " said the new producer Alan Srade.
David still said unwillingly : "Maybe we can try increasing the salary. So she may act. "
The other producer Tomy Hunter sneered :
"Don't act like a naive David. You know that its impossible. She isn't a superstar to act like that, so let her be. Now no matter what happens, she will not enter this project again."
"Ok, but I will still not a take a heroine who is not up-to my standard. No matter what."
The others knew that this was David's bottom line, so they nodded. And they said their assistant to call for the next candidate.
The file of the next candidate was also presented to them. Looking at it, David said : "What kind of rubbish is this. There are no attached photos of this Amy Collins and she has no prior experience with acting and she is so young, only 16 years old "
"Who added her" his anger was clearly visible.
No staff member answered. Alan Sarde replied: "I added her but you don't have to select her necessarily. I just added her because of a reference and I already said that the choice of the actors will be yours completely. So don't worry."
David was still upset but still nodded and didn't say anything more. He knows that this thing is quite common in Hollywood. Producers and Directors get many calls for the auditions. Alan has already said that the final choice will be his, so there's no need to make a matter out of it.
