The Captain yelled.

As barrages if bullets lasers, and missiles alike shot down at the enemies, the lasers killed nearly half of them till they were destroyed.

But the artillery of the enemies was destroyed, but then the sounds of crude engines and then the enemies came out from behind the enemy bodies and attacked, behind them were thousands of vehicles.

The vehicles were quickly destroyed but it was a decoy, most of them were empty , as from behind more enemies attacked, they were surrounded, and their escape routes compromised.

Get me my blade.

The Captain said

As he opened up a badge he was the retired Knight 8, the Hulking Giant before the Hulking Giant, he wore his amor not with pride but with sadness, for once again his hands will be stained by the blood of the helpless.

He came out and yelled in into the base internal comms.

As all the enemies ignored for a moment till their radios started to buzz.

Base Alpha, Sentiuk, Lasvo, and most of the rest have been destroyed including the OutSouls base.

And then the radio of the Captain said.

The Outlaw's Command has noticed.

And everyone's blood ran dry, soon the outlaws will arrive with full force, this will be....problematic.

But the battle was still going on, the captain dropped down as he launched into the group of enemies, his blade which was kept as a show piece was now again tainted red.

Each kill hurts him more then anything, he ran away from this, he ran from his past he went into the exploration area for a reason he wanted to escape this.

He chose Urdok cause he had a disorder, he wouldn't feel many emotions except positive ones, he chose Urdok not cause he was one of the strongest Janko's but because he was.....Less affected by this.

The Captain thought that Urdok wouldn't have much problem in retirement, but he made a wrong guess, the only one in his life..

The Captain fought through the masses as he saw some of them use one of the earlier models of the plasma blades and this proved to be more trouble to him.

The Canisters of energy used to power the older blades would explode if the energy is not being supplied to something, and so whenever he killed one of them , he ran back to get out of the explosion radius.

Bullets hitting him from all angles as he fell to the ground, his retirement has ended I guess, but something helped him, a Hulking Giant for a split second he heard someone say

I have lost my student, but I cannot lose my sensei.

As the bullets went flying in all directions, the Captain was filled with power again, his eyes lit up, the red eyes of death came on as he launched.

Only leaving a trail of afterimages, the enemies tried to shoot him , but I was in vain their defenses were nothing to him, but then a Laser Missile hit him on the back, he was sent flying hitting the ground.

He was quickly swarmed and attacked, but the old man haven't give up, he stood once again, and by opening his aura to it's max he sent all of them flying, but then another missile came at him, he calmed himself as he dodged it.

The enemies started to run, but the captain did one last thing before he could let them go away, he ran at his fastest speed and destroyed all their weaponry like artilleries etc, he only left them with small laser pistols as he went back to base.

He assessed the damage, the right wing of the base took most of the damage as the communication equipment was stored there, as well as the lower base walls have been destroyed completely, we may need to repair that so we can have a better chance to withstand another ambush.

And as that happened the Knights and Swordsmen came back, the entire situation was explained to them.

John was in a room with the knights as John said.

The Outlaws main force is fearsome, we have to make it through these weeks, but I don't know if we can leave without major casualties, the outlaws is also a place for bounty hunters so that will pose some problems of their own.

And if Iam correct the bounty hunters will come with them, I have a hit list for the ones who to be worried about but the main problem is this guy, An Untimely Mist, we know nothing much about it except that he has killed over 15Knights , survived 500+Assassinations and has killed a Zarkindeon Price also a rumour about him is that he bleeds a rusted gold color which would mean he is a banished Zarkindeon.

Tnzia and Xavier relayed this information to the Captain and they prepared, they had gotten their reinforcements and they had enough food and water, but building and communication equipment was needed, they took it from another base and came back with the needed things and so the rebuilding of the base began and hope that the month will be uneventful maybe the outlaws....forgot.

John knew that the outlaws will come for revenge and he also hoped that An Untimely Mist won't come with them, cause he had also killed 50Covenant Knights but John kept it a secret as to no one would be overly scared for this threat, but now we rest in the hopes of waking tomorrow alive and well
