Please help me.

Rivaldo was taken aback.He didn't know why she kicked him.

"What are you doing Avalina," Rivaldo said gritting his teeth. He saw the evil grin on her face

"What I am going to do well you will see. You know you are the most disgusting person I know. Do you think I will forgive you after what you did to me in childhood?"

Her words were like a knife aimed at her heart. His heart was broken. The girl he loved the most is attacking him. All this time he was protecting her still she now attacked him for something which happened years back.

"Avalina let me explain... What are you doing? We can talk this out okay."

But Avalina didn't stop she continued to attack him.

"You know why your mother left you in an orphanage. Because she knew you are an incapable fool."

This truly angered Rivaldo. The mention of his mother leaving in the orphanage was his bottom line and she just touched that bottom line. He then lost all his reason and started to attack back. He kicked her and pushed her to the wall. He didn't stop and he continued placing punches on her face and abdomen.

Soon blood started to flow from her forehead, her face swelled from the beating. When she was almost getting unconscious Rivaldo realized what he was doing. He knew he cannot manage his temper but today he almost fatally injured the most important person in his life. He attacked Avalina Facci. Soon he stopped hitting her. He helped her to stand up and started to clean her wounds using his handkerchief

"Avalina Sorry, I...I" Right at the moment a car entered the car parking space and a handsome man in a black tuxedo coat came out of it.

Avalina soon pushed him, tore her sleeves, and ran to that person. Rivaldo was frozen for a second and took a few steps to follow her but he stopped when he saw Avalina falling on that man's foot. He was surprised by what he heard.

"Ple..Please help me. Some men are attacking me.Ple...ase help me.

Oliver has just gotten out of his car when he saw a lady covered in blood coming in his direction. She fall to the ground and started to grab his legs. She started to beg him to save her from some men.

Oliver was taken aback. But soon he saw someone behind one of the pillars. The person seemed to withdraw due to his presence. He helped Avalina to stand up.

He saw her beautiful face swollen due to beatings. Her mouth and forehead were covered in bruises. The sleeve of her beautiful dress was torn. Clearly, anyone who did it was inhuman.

"Please help me. Please save me." Grabbing his hand she was ranting continuously. Seeing the pitiful state he didn't have the mind to push her away. Soon she started to crumple to the ground. He immediately rushed to support her by her shoulder.

"Let's go to the hospital." but right when he was going to open his car door she started to move back.

"Pl...Please no hosp...hospital.Please no hospital" Her face was terrified. Clearly, she seemed to hate the hospital. Little did he know all this was Avalina's facade to make him keep her at his home. It was a way for her to get close to him.

At far Rivaldo saw all this. He soon understood this all to be her scheme. To instigate him, make him hit her and run to Oliver to help her out of pity. A perfectly laid plan.

He started to shake his head. Clearly even after knowing her for 16 years he still couldn't understand her. But at the same time, Avalina perfectly used his bad temper and his bottom line to infuriate him to lose control. He saw Oliver helping Avalina to the lift. Clearly, he was taking her to his flat. Her plan has been perfect.

In the lift, Avalina lost her consciousness .So Oliver had no other choice but to lift her up in princess style. He entered his flat and laid Avalina in the guest bed. He went to take out the First aid kit and started to clean her wound. As he cleaned her forehead, nose, and lips and applied the bandage. He saw how beautiful she was. He also saw faded burnt marks on her face.

Clearly, this woman has gone through a lot.

After dressing up the wound he went back to his room. As soon as he went to his room Avalina opened her eyes and took her phone from her purse and messaged Rivaldo

"Thanks for your help brother, Rivaldo. Well, you did hit me more than what I initially assumed. It's still painful. But it all paid off. My first step in convincing him to keep me as his secretary is successful. Sorry for saying those harsh words. I really didn't mean it. It was all the part of my plan."

Rivaldo was in one of the hotels which Facci acquired recently from Wales. Wales had just opened the hotel business here and there were not more than 3 hotels but all of them were 6-star and in very good condition. He was still thinking about what just happened when he got Avalina's message.

It was as what he assumed. All was her plan. He was relieved and he had to admit her acting was top-notch. Even the best actress in the Entertainment industry can't give that level of acting.

He smiled thinking about her. She is the most talented person he can ever meet in his life. He was truly falling for her. He wished she felt about him in the same way. Today he did a mistake by losing his temper but he promised himself that he could never hurt her even if it was her plan to do so. He then messaged her.

"Sorry I lost my temper. I should have controlled it. Tell me if you need my help"

In the morning, Oliver woke up. He decided to check on the girl he brought yesterday. So he quickly dressed up and went to her room. He saw her still sleeping.

He went and sat on the chair near her. He saw her face and then started to change her bandage. While changing she groaned in pain and opened her eyes.

She slowly tried to raise up but couldn't. So Oliver helped her to sit ."

Her perfect blue eyes were focused on him as she said

"Thank you for helping me and saving my life. I will be indebted to you for your kindness."

"Eh... there is no need for thanks and all. What's your name and why were you attacked.

As Avalina heard this she lowered her head a bit.

"I...I... am Ava Max. I grew up in an orphanage. I came to town looking for a job. While going back to the hotel, I met a group of men. They tried to physically assault me. I barely managed to escape. They already know in which hotel I am living also they said that even if I escape they will try to find me and assault me."

Hearing this Oliver was enraged but soon regained his composure. He then looked at her and said "Let's go to the police."

"No...No...Please no police. Orphans like us have no one to protect. Even if you are helping me now you can't help me always. Luckily nothing happened to me. Please let's forget about this."

Oliver after hearing this was silent for a moment. After thinking for a while he said "Ok, if you say so let's forget this."

"I know it will be too much to ask but can I stay here for a few more days. I am too afraid to stay in hotels. I can do all your cooking, laundry, and other home chores jobs. You don't need to pay me anything."

Oliver first thought to reject her proposal and send her to some other safe house instead of allowing her to live with him. But seeing her beautiful face. Seeing her pitiful and humble state he didn't think to object. Also if she is doing the house chores for him then it was advantageous.

"Ok, you can stay here as long as you wish".

Hearing this Avalina's eyes lit up. Her plan to get acquainted with him was working perfectly fine.

"Really thanks a lot. Can I know your name?" This was all part of her facade.

"Oh sorry, I am Oliver Brown".

"Oliver Brown like the brown of Brown enterprise," Avalina asked making a surprised face.

"Yes, that would be me. Well, Ms. Max, I am going to get ready for the office. There is food in the fridge."

"Thanks, Mr. Brown.As I mentioned I will never forget your kindness."
