Mu Chen

He was exercising in the middle of the forest. His whole body was drenched in sweat. He was still doing push-ups and pull-ups. Finally, his body could take no more due to his vigorous workout. He laid his back on the ground. He was not a cultivator, so he trained hard as long as possible to gain strength to protect himself from the dangers lurking in the world. He also wanted to go to various places in the vast world and gain knowledge and experience.

His name is Mu Chen, and this is his daily routine. He is an 18-year-old young man with a decent appearance. He is tall and hair is dark like his round black eyes, and his nose is sharp. His skin is white, and with his little body muscles, he looks like an average looking man.

In the evening sunlight, Mu Chen sets his eye on the sky and starts thinking about his next step, which is to go out of this town in the near future and to achieve big things in the cultivation world. For that purpose, he needs to train hard.

His parents died while they went hunting. He was powerless and clueless and didn't know what to do in the first place at the age of 8. From that, he made an oath to himself that he would become powerful so that he could protect his loved ones from any harm.

Since then, he himself has lived a lonely life living in his small house which is located in Pan town. He works at the alchemy shop in his town. His work is to collect spirit herbs from the forest, which was asked by the shop owner, Elder Ni. From that, he can gain low level spirit grate stones. For the last 10 years, this is the life he has been living in this town.

Mu Chen suddenly speaks to himself, "that old man gives me difficult jobs each and every time. I need to find those now before night comes."

He went near the small waterfall near the uneven cliff, then he started searching for herbs. Suddenly, below him, the uneven cliff cracks and he falls from the cliff into the water. He sank deep into the water, where there was no light. He sank deeper into the water and tried to swim above but suddenly the collased cliff fell into the water that hit Mu Chen and he drowned deeper.

When he opened his eyes, he was drowning deeper in the water. Then he was able to see a shining white light that surrounded the whole place deep under the water, looking like a flash of a thousand lights colliding in the same place. He reached the light and moved his hands forward to the light. When he came into contact with the light, his whole body disappeared.

After he realised that he was not under water anymore, Here he sees a place that looks like the whole sky was pitch black, which reflected the whole place. All the directions were also covered in black.

He walks in a particular direction that his mind was telling him to go in. After walking for hours, he sees a pond where the water looks like it is shining golden. He is awed at the sight of the pond that releases divine profound qi that is immeasurable, but he doesn't know that.

He didn't know what to do at that time, but all he wanted to do was to merge into that pond, and he suddenly removed all his clothes and jumped into the pond.

The next moment, the fire qi in the pond starts to get into Mu Chen's body, and his whole body is enveloped in a dark red light. He feels like his whole body is about to burst out any time soon. His bones are breaking, his tissues are tearing, his meridians are bursting, veins are popping from his whole body. He felt like dying.

"So, this is how my life comes to an end?" Mu Chen thought and lost consciousness.

His whole body is now absorbing the qi from the pond. Deep inside the pond, there is a crystal orb that emits the heavenly fire aura that emits that golden aura. Now that the qi is being absorbed by Mu Chen, this process takes nearly half a day.

Mu Chen now feels that his broken bones, veins, and tissues are reconstructing and his skin, bones, veins, and whole body and soul feel like they went through a reconstruction phase and the process is finally finished.

He regained consciousness and opened his eyes to look around, noting that the pond water was no longer golden in color, and that the profound qi emitted by the crystal orb had been fully absorbed by Mu Chen, and the qi had vanished.

Mu Chen thought for a moment, "What the hell happened now? Why do I feel like my blood is purer than before, my body is no longer weak and it feels like I have gained more muscles, power and strength are incredible? " His mind went through turmoil and he thought about these sudden changes, and he looked around in confusion as to what kind of place this was.

He realised something, and his eyes went wide, that he himself could not believe that he had entered the Cultivation Realm and the Body Refining Realm.

"Unbelievable," he muttered.
