Chapter 75 War of Races

This death knight is struggling too much. It didn't use many skills and only attacking with its sword. It was only using basic skills.

It didn't even use the death knight's infamous skills like Judgement of the Dead. It also didn't seems to have passive buff from Champion of the Undead.

There is also no buff aura to the surrounding undeads like the arch demon.

"What a useless death knight is this? Is this even a death knight?"

These two are the death knight's strongest skills. Furthermore it was not all of its skills. It has more skills that increase its strength further.

Killian started to doubt. This death knight strength doesn't even reach the level of the arch demon.

Killian was worried about the skill, Judgement of the Dead. No matter how tanky you are, if you hit by that you will instantly lose half of your health and attributes.

Even dragons have to avoid this skill. However the skill is easy to avoid. The death knight needs some time to prepare for activation.

Champion of the Undead is also amazing skill. It boosts the survivability in war and damage in one on one duels.

Right now, Killian is the death knight's only enemy. The damage should be terrifying. However despite this, the death knight damage doesn't seem to increase.

Killian finally come to a conclusion. This is a man made dungeon. It seems the magic emperor cannot put a normal death knight in the dungeon and created a weaker version of the death knight.

And this death knight didn't have none of the infamous skills, Judgement of the Dead or Champion of the Undead.

Killian stopped dodging and charged in. The death knight attacks but it cannot even penetrate Killian's chaos barrier.

First strike, the death knight lose its horse and fell down. Second strike, the death knight was beheaded by Killian.

Killian then shot dozens of chaos beams to the death knight's body. The death knight won't die just from beheading. Although this death knight is weaker than normal Killian had to make sure.

'Congratulations. You have passed the trial of the third floor.'

The notification sounded and the undeads around him also stopped attacking. Killian snorted coldly.

"I can't believe I wasted too much time on this half-baked death knight."

'You have gained the reward for passing trial of the third floor, Ring of Despel.'

A ring flew out from the death knight's corpse. Small runes were engraved across the ring.

"Its pretty good. Although its not as good as Scarlet Dagger, it is still useful. Especially its additional skill. Dispel magic will come in handy in the future.

However I don't know to what extent this can dispel. In the item shop, I guess this might cost around 7,000 to 8,000 gold."

Killian put on the ring and continued to the next floor. This time he saw humanoid figures.

'Welcome to the fourth floor of the dungeon, War of the Races.'

Killian eyes flickered. He scan through the land and surprised. The whole dungeon floor is hundred times larger than the previous ones. This is a whole continent.

He found many races across the dungeon floor. Humans, elves, demi-humans, beastmen, dwarfs, goblins, orcs, trolls and ogres. The population is not small.

Each built their own kingdoms and having war with each other. There is no demons or undeads here. Killian can understand that.

If there are demons or angels, they will be already ruled the entire land. Furthermore the magic emperor won't be able find that many to form a kingdom.

For the undeads, they are mindless and won't have balance in the contest between the races. After all, undeads doesn't matter if you are a human or a goblin.

The undead civilization can absorb any decreased and become stronger. They will be even more broken when the kingdoms are having massive war against each other. With plenty of deaths, they will become unstoppable.

Killian doesn't exactly know what to do. However he had a general idea. Since this is called war of the races, he might have to help one of the race and let it win in the war.

Or another path will be to stop the war and bring peace to all the races. However it was too hard. Killian also didn't need too many races.

If possible, he wanted to make these races his chaos essence farms. As he level up, his consumption rate of the chaos essences also rise.

His former farms are not enough to keep up with the demand. He needs more source of chaos essences.

"So who should I aid."

Killian can easily destroy these races. This dungeon is not supposed to be challenged by the players. The magic emperor left this for his descendants.

For non-players, this might be hellish difficult. But for Killian, it was not a problem. However he planned to play along a bit.

He didn't worry about the outside world. He already gained full loyalty of his puppies and they will do the troublesome works for him.

Killian decided to visit the demi-human kingdom first. He already seen every race expect demi-humans and dwarfs in the continent.

Beastmen are quite rare in Alizena. Killian had seen them in the dark forest. He had killed them before.

Demi-humans are like beastmen. However their facial appearance resemble that of a human. Unlike beastmen who have the facial appearance of an animal.

Demi-humans are closer to humans while the beastmen are crude and their traditions are wilder. Although Killian doesn't have any problem, he still prefers more human like.

Dwarfs are not so interesting for Killian. Even though their weapon crafting is great, Killian already had access to the item shop.

However the main reason is because they are ugly. Going there won't have any fun. The demi-humans can at least be his eye candy. Killian snapped his fingers.

His ears slowly turned into a white wolf ears along with white hair. A white tail also grew from his back. He turned into a white wolf demi-human.

His appearance is still the same. Only the wolf ears and tail were added. Killian didn't change his face. Why would he changes his face when he's already handsome. That's too wasteful.

After he finished preparing, Killian went to the demi-human kingdom.
