The realisation was spot on, as the ray of light touched the defensive array of that disciple, his defensive array shattered into pieces and with no defense or resistance he was tossed out of the place but ice pillars rising from ground without even giving him chance to do anything

He already seemed prepared for everything and just flew out of state with a brimming smile on his face with little shining tears leaking from his eyes

Mu Chen his head and sealed off that memory and just then his both pupils glowed in shining purple for a brief moment and Mu Chen sensed it even from his spatial perception

As Mu Chen turned back he saw his whole field of vision was covered by a wave of crimson red flames which was rushing towards him like a storm to swallow him whole and it was really too late for Mu Chen with present level of skills to cast any defensive array

'Did I get him?'

The disciple of Celestial Pheonix Holyland observed nervously but as his flame passed through the place he noticed Mu Chen's figure suddenly turning into smoke

"Well now that was a good attempt!"

Suddenly his gaze went upwards where he noticed Mu Chen standing on top of an array formation in mid air

"It was an illusion!? Since when!?"

He was utterly shocked but at same time immediately formed two array formations in front of his hand but just then he noticed the wooden roots from ground grabbing both legs

"From the first moment I saw your eyes aiming for me..."

Mu Chen coldly said those words and next second the array formation in hands of that disciple of Celestial Pheonix Holyland shattered and he was completely bound by those wooden roots that suddenly came out of ground

"Mmm-agh!"

He was struggling but before Mu Chen could finish him off suddenly an earthen projectile tossed him out of stage

"Your words really inspired me Brother Mu Chen, I'm Hou Yanqi, the Core Disciple of Divine Dream Sanctuary and sister of Hou Shunyuan you saved, I'm in your debt for that

She smirked and next second both arrays passed right through each other and as that happened Mu Chen noticed the whole ground below was burning with heat and even melting down at some point

"Ohh! Fire and Earth huh! A rare combo!"

"No wait! Hou Yanqi has two more elemental affinity!"

"But that was so fast!"

"Even as an Array Grandmaster she is an exceptional talent!"

The audience was left surprised just like Mu Chen, Mu Chen took a brief glance at her smirking face

'This bitch is using emotional lines to distract me like this! How sharp and evil!'

[No! No! No! No!No! She was genuine! Don't put others in the same standards as you!!!]

Despite the system's reply Mu Chen decided to maintain that same mindset and clapped with both hands forming a flat array over the ground and next second the heated ground got filled with water

"Solving the problems is useless! I was a big troublemaker back home you know!"

Hou Yanqi shouted and next second suddenly earthen hand projectiles started rising from ground besides Mu Chen

Mu Chen immediately changed the sign in his fingers and immediately the earthen projectiles got filled with roots and small plants as Mu Chen shouted while jumping over it

"I have raised a pretty big troublemaker myself! I know how to control them!!!"

Mu Chen shouted that and placed his palm over that earthen projectile which was not overtaken by Mu Chen

And as soon as Mu Chen did that a wave of roots started to spread throughout the ground in an astonishing speed

"You can't control me though!"

Hou Yanqi said that and all roots spreading towards her got burned to dust my flames circling around her as she looked at Mu Chen with sharp eyes with 4 array formations right in front of her and her finger targeting Mu Chen that can blow up whole place itself in matter of a moment
