A Cat With Nine Lives
Perhaps, a cat is said to have nine lives, not because if you kill it once it resurrects again, but because of how difficult it is for a cat to die. Or maybe the cats are just smart enough and lucky enough to escape death, but I’m not a cat, am I? Seeing that I’m still alive and not dead when I should have been long gone. Anyone who hears the story would say I’m a cat with nine life; it is definitely a phrase used to refer to how lucky a person is. And this phrase was mine to live, by luck I’d say.
