C6- Puppy Love is not Love.

After a legnthy lecture from Granny Dove. Korah again tossed a single piece of rice among the eight grain there are six left.

Granny explained that she needed to make haste because Ayin's body might be in a dangerous spot. Korah just realised that to pursue a love you get to do things that is beyond your comfort zone.

The sound of chain rattles as she sat on the swing in the local park near Ayin's botique. Korah needed a strategy to convince Ayin that she is his bride. But it lingers in her mind how will he believe a twelve-year-old girl in her twin tails.

Ayin will surely support and acknowledge her but he will just pass it as a childish crush. How would you go beyond puppy love anyway? Aside from it's a transitional affection, they say it's special and unforgettable but most likely it's heartbreaking because it's a new phase for a girl nearing puberty. She gather her courage and enter the botique. Ayin is on the counter currently having his inventory. New stocks have arrived. Korah being familiar of the place. She made her way to his back and peek at his lists.

"Mr. The checkerds thingy is listed twice over here." Korah pointed at the least side of the paper with her tiny index finger.

Ayin was surprised to see a child behind him. He did not noticed since how long she's been there reviewing with him.

Ayin examined that she in her tiptoes. One wrong move and she might lose her balance on the chair.

"Hey there little lady, it's dangerous for you to stand like that on a narrow chair. "

Ayin pointed as he gently scoop her with his arms and planted her on the floor.

"So, are you here to buy some clothes? " Ayin inquired as he squated to match her height.

Korah just bluntly deliver her goal and wrapped her arms on his neck.

"I am here because I like you Mr. "

Her comment made Ayin laugh and rub her back with his left palm softly.

"Sorry about that, but do I remind someone who is close to you.

You might have mistaken me as someone you know. "

Korah let go of his neck and look at Ayin in firmness and determination.

"No Mr. I really admire you since I saw you.... this morning at the park. "

Ayin just nodded at her and flick her cute nose with his finger.

"But you just met me, Let me guess you don't even know my name right?"

Korah settled herself on his lap and said.

"It's Mr. Ayin Chasis right? "

Ayin chuckled at her overloading cuteness.

"Wow young lady, you do your assignment well. If I am your teacher I will give you a perfect score. Which school are you going by the way? "

Korah bowed her head and rub her eyes to moisten her eyelids.

"I don't go to school Mr. "

Ayin look at the teary eyed girl with symphaty and asked.

"Then where is your house? Isn't it that your parents should send you to study? "

Korah realised that her acting is working. She just need to convince him that the only one who can confide her now is none other than Ayin.

" I live in the park Mr." When Korah released her final statement she inwardly thumbs up herself because Ayins face contours in pity.

"Then do you want me to help you? " Korah immediately agreed and wrapped her small frame to his masculinity.

Korah stood in front of a familiar door. She did not expect that Ayin would take her to this place. This is Evan's door step. Evan is her childhood friend. What if he recognise her? There are trains of what if buliding up in her mind when the door knob clicked and it unravel Evan in his sweat pants.

"What's up Ayin? " Evan said as he invited them inside the house.

"Here is the young girl I texted you about. Can she stay here till I can speak about her with my parents?"

"Sure. " Evan replied lazily as he made his way to their refrigerator and get some kiddy snacks.

Ayin who seated them on the couch waited for Evan to join them.

"So what is your name little girl? " Evan inquired as he put on some butter on the bread and handed it to Korah.

" I am not a little girl, I am a lady now because I am beyond ten years old. And my Name is Ko... " She paused to think for a name.

" You can call me RAH gentleman. "

Korah delivered her message as arrogant and childish as possible .Evan just snorted at her and Ayin pat her head in amusement.

"Hey young lady, Are you trying to impress this lad over here? " Evan teased and Korah blushed.

"Bingo! " Evan roasted as he continue to have his own fun.

Ayin left when the clock ticked passed 7pm. Ayin gave Korah a light squeeze and made his way to his car. Evan made a signal that it will be fine and there her subject of love drive away from her.

Evan prepared a warm bath for Rah and some dinner. Evan even redies some cartoon movies for them to watch to make her feel comfortable.
