School

The next day, Loki woke up to a loud knocking at the door. The voice behind the doors revealed it to be Darvin.

"Wake the hell up, dork!" he kept hitting the door as loud as possible. "You'll miss the school!"

"Fuck off," Loki mumbled, but because Darvin kept hitting the doors, he gave up and dragged himself to the doors. While rubbing his eyes, he opened the door revealing a very angry-looking Darvin.

"Good morning, Darv." He yawned.

His face turned from angry to worried once he saw what Loki wore. "Where's your school uniform?"

"I'll skip it today. I feel sick." Like lied while scratching his buttocks.

"Don't lie," Darvin said. "Come on, get dressed. I'll take you there."

"Tsk." Loki frowned while clicking his tongue.

Even now, Loki feels attached to his brother. So Roger felt this attachment as well. After seeing the girls, he worried he might feel the same attraction for Sara and Clara as the original Loki did. But, he doubted that. Especially after knowing that after Loki died in the novel, the two of them married his murderer.

After reaching Darvin's car, Loki pretended to have a stomach ache.

"Bro... I feel sick." Loki nagged while rubbing his stomach.

"Well, just hang in there, will ya?" Said Darvin as he started the engine.

"Tsk!" Loki clicked his tongue.

As he drove off, Loki stared at the buildings. He was amazed at how tall some of the sky-scrapers were. His brother parked the car and turned to face him.

"Hey, dork. Text me after school. I will pick you up."

"Alright. Thanks," replied Loki as he rolled up the window.

Darvin walked off and started heading toward his classroom. He was a popular guy, and many girls flocked to him. He wasn't as handsome as Loki. However, he was much more self-confident and a talented fighter.

Loki, on the other hand, was much more handsome. However, he deeply loved Sara, so he rejected all other girls. After a while, the girls gave up on him. Remarkably few girls kept hope and tried reaching out.

No one in the school knew that Loki and Sara were dating because Sara forbade him to tell anyone about their relationship. The belief that he was single was why the girls continued pursuing him. Sara said they shouldn't reveal their relationship because she didn't want them to get too much attention, but Loki now knew that it was because she felt embarrassed of him. He didn't understand why she agreed to date him in the first place. After all, she was extremely mean to him in school.

As Loki walked toward his classroom, one girl he had never met came to him and handed him a love letter. As she gave a letter, she bowed to hide her blushing cheeks.

"P-please... At least consider..."

The girl was adorable. She seemed young, a petite, cute girl with long blond hair and big blue eyes. Loki didn't know what to say to her and looked at her and asked.

"How old are you?" Loki said while raising his brows.

"What? We're classmates" she started to look pale. She looked away from Loki, so he wouldn't see the tears forming in her eyes. "I'm eighteen! You don't remember me?!"

The realization dawned on Loki. 'Shit,' he cursed in his mind.

"Ah, yes. Of course, I remembered you. It's just that I never spoke to a girl as adorable as you."

The compliment made her blush once more. She smiled but still couldn't face him, so she kept her head down. "T-thank you..."

Loki gazed at the letter one more time and noticed the signature. 'Julia Croweye.' His jaw dropped, and he stared at the girl with wide eyes.

"You... Are you Julia?" He breathed out.

Julia nodded her head with red cheeks.

"Alright. I will date you." He instantly responded with a bow. "But first..."

He took out the phone and texted Sara, 'We're over.' and instantly turned off the phone.

Julia almost screamed 'YES' when Loki agreed to date her. She couldn't express the happiness she felt. After all, Julia had been gathering the courage to ask him out since middle school. But because Loki always rejected all the girls, Julia was afraid of being rejected. However, today she gathered her courage and decided to go for it.

After taking a deep breath, she bowed and ran toward her classroom. But before entering the class, she turned to Loki and said. "Will be seeing you."

She still smiled, and Loki felt amazed at how cute this girl was. He quickly turned around and walked to his class with a slight smile. He knew she was the only one worthy of him. And he wouldn't let her go. He can't. She is the only girl he can trust. If she was gone from his life, he knew he wouldn't be able to trust any other girl again.

"Hello," Loki said as he walked into the class. He looked around and walked toward his seat. He noticed Sara's intense stare. If looks could kill, Loki would have died a thousand times.

'Tsk.' Loki clicked his tongue and sat in his seat.

"What? No 'good morning'?" Sara coldly asked when he was passing her seat.

Loki felt amused. She never talked to him in school; whenever he greeted her, she ignored him.

"Hi!~" Loki answered sarcastically with a grin. He looked at her angry face and felt good. "Sorry about breaking up with a text message. I assumed you didn't want to talk to me at school."

Sara started asking what had happened. However, Loki just ignored her. She was talking, but Loki pretended it was just background noise. Sara was trembling in rage, but she couldn't shout at Loki because she hid their relationship from classmates.

"Hey, Loki. Congrats." Suddenly a classmate whose name Loki didn't know congratulated him on something. He assumed it was because he agreed to date Julia since nothing else happened.

Loki smiled politely at the classmate. "Thank you."

Sara looked confused, as she didn't understand what the two were talking about. But before she could ask, the teacher entered the classroom. After that, they had the test later today, and Loki thought he was done for. However, luckily for Loki, the original studied, he got a perfect score.

"Thank you so much, original me!" Loki thanked with a smile on his face.

When the bell rang, Loki left the classroom as fast as he could, so Sara wouldn't follow him and called his brother to take him home.

When he arrived, he went to straighten his room and began to meditate. At first, he felt uncomfortable, but after a while, he got used to sitting in a lotus position. After a bit started to touch flying mana snowflakes that he saw with the eye of chaos, some snowflakes electrocuted him, and some burned or froze him. Few cut him. The only mana snowflakes at the moment that were useful were colored gold. They healed his wounds.

"Nice," he muttered when he saw that his cuts healed almost instantly after touching the golden mana snowflake. He knew he couldn't use fire manipulation or any other offensive skill. And he cursed his past self for not learning his abilities before the reincarnation.

"Fuck me! It would have been so useful if I already had memories of how it was done."

However, in the novel, Loki starts learning to control his powers only after graduating from school. In the novel, Loki discovered his chaos abilities after Darvin's death. So now he is still far ahead of the original.

The whole day passed, and Loki was about to go to sleep. He notebook, and with a smile on his face, he looked at his to-do list. He added a few words near the list.

First: Train - in process

Second: Get rid of toxic people in my life - in the process

Third: Join a guild (and maybe start a cult).
