"Calm down." I said to myself. I took the ring and wore it. Just then, in a split second, I felt as if someone is trying to suck me with a vacuum cleaner made to suck humans. I was being sucked into some form of crystal and it was shining like the sun. The next moment I found myself in a room. This room had one bed, a desk, and a cupboard. After I started exploring the room, I found out there were books in a language that I hadn't seen before. What was more perplexing is that there was no way to find out whose body I had possessed. No possessions, no naming on any item, nothing. the only belonging showing any kind of relevance towards this person's identity was a photo. It had 3 people, most probably friends along with the the owner of this body. Then, I took out the note which the voice had instructed me to read from my right pocket. The title was "Good Luck Soldier!" It's contents were,
"Greetings my fellow soul, My name is Samuel Merlin. I am the greatest Magician of the world that you are currently in. Unfortunately, you cannot meet me because I am already dead. Before dying, I cast a spell on myself which allowed me to revert the time to 30 years in the past. But, in that process I had my soul damaged significantly and hence was unable to possess my body from 30 years back. Hence, I had to find a suitable soul in the realm of afterlife to possess my body and kill the great evil force before it destroys the world. I was unable to do it, hence you have to become a better Magician than me. Don't worry, because I know you will be ready when the time comes. How do I know this? Because of two things, first one being you have my body. You have the best talent attributes out of all Magicians. Second, that ring that I gave you. It is sort of a cheat item which helps in developing the magic attributes and maintaining a good balance inside the body. That ring is our only hope other than you. You must be thinking, how will you contact me if you have to know about something, well every week on the seventh day at the 13th hour, I will contact you through that ring for about 1 hour. You can ask any questions during that period.
Now listen carefully, if you don't do what you are supposed to and do anything evil, you will experience the pain of getting your head chopped. Also if you don't practice magic in order to become a Magician, the previous punishment will apply. And remember, with great power comes great.... you know the next word.
