Changing the future

"Well, you know… the things that I like… actually… I like to sleep too," Sakura said, and Sasuke felt like facepalming. "Ah, my name is Sakura Haruno."

"I see, we have a bunch of lazybones in the team and a glutton," Kakashi said. "Anyway, no matter. This should be enough for today. We will meet tomorrow on the training grounds near the third ninja war monument at five in the morning. Don't be late. We will do some light exercises there, and don't eat anything unless you want to throw up."

Kakashi made another hand seal and then disappeared after creating a small smoke screen…. Sasuke wanted to skip that part, but it would be an excellent opportunity to make Kakashi and Naruto show him some jutsus. If Naruto could learn the Shadow Clone technique with his skill level, Sasuke could learn it as well with the sharing at level one.

"Don't let him fool you guys; you shouldn't skip your breakfast tomorrow," Sasuke said. "If you do, you won't be able to do anything."

"Do you know what the squad leader is thinking about, Sasuke?" Sakura asked.

"Let's just say that while we are a team, we have to prove ourselves to him tomorrow," Sasuke said. "He is the squad leader and can disband the squad if he wants, and then we won't be recognized as true Shinobi."

"What a lot of nonsense… as if that old man can take my title away from me," Naruto said and then snorted. "Let him try if he wants to."

Sasuke watched Naruto leave the place… it felt like he got all the edginess that the original Sasuke had. The original Naruto was a bit annoying at that age, but he wasn't that filled with anger. Sasuke wondered if the current Naruto would follow the same path as the old Sasuke in the story… it was very possible.

"It will be a pain to deal with him as a team… don't you think, Sasuke?" Sakura asked.

"It will also be a pain if you grow to become the first woman who gave birth to an Uchiha that needs glasses…." Sasuke thought. "Go home earlier and prepare yourself for tomorrow. Kakashi isn't the type to mess around."

"Prepare for what exactly?" Sakura asked.

"Prepare your spirit for a fight… that should solve most problems," Sasuke replied.

In the early stages of the story, Sakura is practically useless, and that infuriates the fans… she gets a bit better in the second part. Still, even so… she is only better than the others that were left behind…

It was questionable to say if she was stronger than Neji, Rock Lee, or even Hinata. Sasuke had to learn why he was living that story that apparently was changing, but he also couldn't neglect those guys. Sakura was a part of the team, so he made to make sure that she won't be a nuisance. Just being cute won't cut it out…

Sasuke returned home in a hurry since he was itching to train, and out of habit, thanks to the memories, he said, 'I am home.' Still, he was welcomed by silence… that didn't bother him that much since, with both memories, he was used to being alone.

"Practicing the Fireball jutsu will increase its power, but using the Clone Technique will be more efficient," Sasuke thought as he checked things in his room. "This place is awfully empty… it looks like most belongings were taken away since no one would use them."

Sasuke didn't find many things around aside from small shurikens and kunai, his bed, and a closet… Regardless, considering his status, Sasuke had to increase his health; he wasn't good at taking damage with that body, so he had to train Taijutsu as well.

"Too many things to do and too little time before tomorrow… I don't think that I will be able to take the bells from Kakashi, even though it will be fun to try that," Sasuke thought.

Sasuke began using his Clone technique without wasting time and confirmed that they could exist for ten minutes. After that, he infused his chakra two times, and then he was forced to stop since he was mentally and physically exhausted… doing that three times every day was probably his limit.

"Things can only improve by pushing my limits, so I should practice my Taijutsu now…" Sasuke thought and then recalled some simple movements that the old him practiced to improve his physical strength and control over his body. "After the test tomorrow, we will spend a few weeks doing trash missions… during that time, I should focus on learning a genjutsu or two… it would be nice if I could learn an ocular one."

Aside from Itachi, the genjutsu users of that world were quite pathetic, and Sasuke wanted to reach his level; even without the talent that Itachi had… he should be able to compensate for it with enough practice over the years.

"Let's see… considering the memories of this body… Genjutsu works by using one of the five Senses. Sight, Hearing, Touch, Taste & Smell as a medium to control their brain. The genjutsu user sends their own chakra through a medium, one of the five senses, to control their target's chakra and mind…" Sasuke thought. "It is really complicated, but I will become a master of it."
