Vampire vs. Vampire

I managed to defeat my opponent and helped Anne, Amia, Lady Sonia, and Lady Irene escape… Actually, it would be more accurate to say my opponent was nothing more than a bump on the road. I looked at the man beneath me.

I forgot his name. If I knew he was going to be this weak, I wouldn't have told the others to leave without me, but I guess it can't be helped.

'Yang Li, we delivered the documents,' I heard Lady Irene's voice.

'I see. I will report that to Lord Smarus.'

'There's no need. I already have,' Lady Irene sounded happy.

'Very well. I shall return to Lady Lily's side then. It seems like this raid will soon be over,' I said.

'Yeah, it was exciting… Don't let your guard down though,' Lady Irene warned me. 'Operations as big as this very rarely run smoothly.'
