However, he refuses to play the role... Unfortunately, life is not that forgiving. No matter how he tries to be nice and live a peaceful life, someone will always try to steal that away from him. Therefore, Smarus has one of two choices. Lay down and surrender, or rise to the top as the strongest. This isn't a story of redemption or a hero... no... This is a story of corruption. Fulfilling a promise

Knock Knock Knock!

My eyes opened as I heard knocking on my door. I was still a bit drowsy from the tournament, but I managed to sit up. I slept on the couch since Yang Li was sleeping in my room. I rubbed my eyes.

Knock knock knock!

"I'm coming! Jeez," I sighed.

I opened the door and saw Donkor and Sonia. He was holding a basket full of fruit and flowers.

"Congratulations on your engagements," Donkor handed me the basket.

"How did you know already?" I looked at him suspiciously.

"Irene told Sonia, and she told me. It's only right for me to be one of the first people to congratulate you," He explained.

Sonia was behind him, but I could tell she didn't care about my romantic life. She glared at me and mouthed a few words.

"Remember your promise."

I sighed. I took the basket and looked at its contents.

"More like it was pushed onto me," I muttered.
