Personal Assistant

Hexie opened her eyes and twisted her body so she could look up.

"Boss!" She gasped and sat right up. But she plopped back down as she got dizzy.

"Aww my head..." Hexie closed her eyes as she clutches her head.

When she opened her eyes again, she was met with Choi Kazuki's questioning glare.

"S-Sorry, Boss! I'm anemic so I get dizzy often when I get up abruptly. Sorry, this is so embarrassing..." Her words got fainter until the end of her sentence.

She covered her face to hide her red face. Athena Hexie Wu couldn't believe she mistaken Choi Kazuki's thighs as pillows. And she even had the audacity to hug and grope it. Oh the shame!

"You're studying medicine but you don't take care of yourself," Kazuki said, his voice was stern. He put one of her hands away from her face so he could check her eyes. And true enough, the tissue inside her eyebag is pale.

"It's only temporary, and usually happens during exam season. Hehe Boss, are you caring for me?" Hexie joked to lighten up the mood.

Kazuki glared at the girl resting on his lap, "Duh? You're my responsibility, Wu. Of course, I will. But that doesn't mean I'll let you off the hook from sexually harassing me. Can you get up now?"

Hexie was stunned that Choi Kazuki didn't refute what she said. Amd she was even more shocked at his accusation.

'Me sexually harassing him?! The audacity of this guy!'

"Y-Yes, But I did not harassed you Boss! It wasn't intentional atleast..." Wu Hexie slowly rose up and sat properly. She almost forgot she was wearing a dress. She hung her head low since she couldn't bow down and kowtow.

"Please forgive this lowly subordinate of yours!"

"Hmm..." Kazuki eyes glints at a remarkable idea which Hexie failed to notice as she looked on her folded hands like a guilty kid. In her mind, this was it.

'My death route is really bound to happen! Huhuhu! Death is siiting beside me!'

"Wu Hexie." She heard him enunciate her name. His deep voice resonated around the vast library. The temperature suddenly dropped.

Hexie straightened her back and looked at him but not directly at his intense eyes as it was unbearable for her to look at.

"You want to be forgiven?" He crossed his legs leisurely.

"Y-Yes, Boss..." She meekly nodded.

"Then I will forgive you if you accept to be my personal assistant." He smiled charmingly but there was something ominous behind his smile. It reminded Hexie of her own smile which scared the wits of her blockmates.

Without furthering the delay, Hexie immediately accepted the position.

'How bad could it get?' She sighed in relief, 'Atleast it wasn't a weird task...'

But Hexie still couldn't shake off the ominous aura radiating from the Choi Empire's heir.

"Alright! Change your attire and go to the garden immediately, I'll be giving you three minutes to do so. Once you're late, I will not only double your tasks, but triple it." Kazuki ordered and left the library.

Hexie returned the book she was reading to its rightful place and immediately scurried away to change her clothes. Choi Kazuki was well known for hating people who are late and lazy. Being lazy was one thing she was but she didn't wanna add fuel to the fire.

Once she arrived at the japanese style garden, with 15 seconds to spare, Kazuki immediately handed her the bag of tent. She was still panting from running.

He was already wearing oversized flannel on top of a tucked in white shirt and black ripped short which emphasized his manly yet perfectly fair skin instead of his casual business suit.

'Wait. That's unfair! How is he flawless! Ugh. Idols are a different breed!' Hexie sighed.

"Please set this up, dear wife. And stop undressing me in your mind." Kazuki ordered while smirking.

If Hexie was drinking juice right now, she would have spluttered it in bis face.

"I-I was not!" Hexie widen her eyes at the accusation. She was everything but a pervert!

"Talking back to your superior, huh? Would you want additional tasks on your first day?" Kazuki leaned closer and whispered.

A cold sweat broke on Hexie's forehead. Hexie shook her head to which made Kazuki grinned brightly.

"Good girl!" He patted her wavy-turned-frizzy red hair.

It was fun seeing the usually calm and collected Wu Hexie in panic. It brought him joy to see this humane side of her, instead of her perfect snobbish girl persona.

This idea of his was perfect as it was hitting not only two, but three birds with a stone. Kazuki can directly observe and extract information from the girl himself and keep her safe from his enemies.

He sat at his comfortable foldable chair as he guided Wu Hexie on how to set up the tent. From onlooker's point of view, they look like a cute couple helping each other. But to Athena Hexie Wu, she felt like she was a servant following the commands of an evil Emperor.

After many failed attempts, she finally completed the first task.

"Boss!" Hexie whispered to Choi Kazuki who was busy playing on his phone.

"I did it! I finished setting up the tent!" Hexie was very happy of her accomplishment.

"Nice. Then set up this one too." Kazuki said without looking up. He pointed to the bigger tent bag laying beside his chair. Hexie's smiling face turned sour.

'Unbelievable! This guy loves torturing me! I knew something was up!'

Hexie let out a frustrated sighed. This new tent was even bigger than the first tent she painstakingly set up.

"Hmm? Do I sense a complaint?" Kazuki sneered. He was currently leading his teammates in the newly released mobile game that is similar to the ones he play in his computer.

"No, sir. I will gladly set this up!" Hexie grabbed the tent and opened up the contents.

'Good lord! It's a family sized tent!' Hexie grumbled inwardly.
