Perfectionist's Imperfection 3

"I'm sorry, after the surgery, she suffered brain death and her heart failed to work properly."

Her sister now is covered in white cloth. She lies peacefully on the white bed on a white room.

She did went home that night after Yuki assured that her sister will be fine. After the surgery, her sister suffered coma.

While she started to work as Yuki's assistant. It was not easy, but she did felt in dept to him and to her sister's accident so she worked hard.

She saw that Yuki loves what he was doing. He loved helping people and he's a true doctor even if he's the president.

Her sister's been in coma for three days already. Renz went with her today to see her sister but he was too late.

"We're sorry for your loss,"

The doctor went outside leaving Renz and Thelize grieving.

Renz ran to Bless' cold body while crying.

"I.. what happened? I thought she's going to be fine! You said she will be? Is it because we didn't pay you? The president said it's free!"

Thelize followed the Doctor outside. She grabbed his arm and started to loss control.

The people around watch as she cries and begs the Doctor to give her sister back.

"I'm sorry. We can't dictate a person's destiny. Her's ends here. We did our best."

He pull her hand away while holding it with sadness. He feels the grieve as well, it's his failure to make her live. They did what they can, but they don't control a person's life in their hands. If the gods decide to take it, they will.

He left Thelize crying when Yuki suddenly showed up. He ran from his building to Thelize after hearing the news.

"Lize! Lize, " Thelize looked at him.

He's crying as well. Her heart broke after making Yuki sad. For the past days since she worked for him, there was not a day that he's not sad after knowing that a patient died. He's grieving with everyone who lost someone.

"Yuki..." She ran to him.

"It's all my fault," she cried.

Yuki just hugs her tightly while he's crying with her. He did knew Bless, when they were kids, she gave food to them when they're playing on the sand and she fixed his wound before he went back to his parents. When he was in a relationship with Thelize, she remembered him and teased him that he's a stalker.

She gave full support to him even after they broke up, she says her hello from time to time but now, she's gone. He was not able to say thank you for supporting him, for comforting him when he and Thelize broke up, and for standing up as an older sister as well.

"No, it's no ones fault."

After a few hours, Thelize decided her fate. She silently left Renz and Yuki in the room and she went to the rooftop.

Yuki and Renz did not follow her because they thought she needed space.

But as usual, Yuki knows that she's not going to be fine. After a few minutes he decided to know she went. He asked people where she went but he was too late when he found out where.

"She jumped!"

"Her sister just died earlier!"

"She committed suicide! It's not on the hospital."

Thelize went out and screamed her heart out. She begged gods to take her life and let her sister live. She remembered every memory of her sister. How she worked for her to study on a good school but she screwed up. How she supports her lazy bones. How she let her live with her. How she gave up her love for her. How she even died for her breakfast.

"Please, god. If you hear me, please, let me live my life once again and I promise that this will not happen anymore."

She kneels while holding herself. Every pain she felt before suddenly awoke inside. The hole she had grew larger. She felt like she's drowning. She felt like she's trapped in a room where no light can get in. She falling a deep pit of darkness and she can't hold onto anything.

She looked at the sky. The rooftop made her feel nearer to the sky. It was all she can see from there.

Slowly, she walked towards the end of the building. She climbed the edge and stands. Her side was facing the forest behind the hospital. No one was around. It was so quiet but it screams pain.

"Promise gods, if I get another chance. I'll fix my life."

And she jumped.

"Who jumped?" He was panicking. His head was not thinking straight.

"A girl. She... she's your assistant, Sir." A doctor said. He also got shocked when he remembered who she was.

"Are you sure? Where?" He hold the doctor's shoulders.

"At the back of the building. They already sent her to the morgue. Her body was..."

He did not finish what the doctor said and run to where he said.

He knows what she may do but he let her go and for that few minutes she already vanished. Since they were dating, he knows that Thelize holds her own demons inside but he did not bother to chase them away and now they have consumed her.

"Please, don't leave me as well," he cried.

His body got weak, his heart suddenly stopped, everything went dark.

"What is happening?"

Everything flashed back. It's like time rewind in front of his eyes, no to her eyes, to Thelize's eyes.

He saw everything. How she fell from the building, how she cried while begging the gods, everything.

His heart ached for the things she suffered. He felt everything.

"I'll give you a chance," he heard someone said.

"Who's there?" He looked around. He was surrounded by Thelize's memory flashbacks.

"I'll give her a chance, that pitiful girl. She will not remember everything but you will. You will guide her but whatever you do, her destiny's still in her hands. That also means you can have another shot for life. You change your decisions or keep them like before."

He listens to the voice while he watches Thelize write letters for him though he never received any.

"Alright," he nods.

'I'll make sure I'll get that letter,' he thought.

"Uhh, we'll start here! First day of your high school. This is where she messed up."

He looked around, shocked by what the voice said, "Messed up?"

But no one answered, everything just suddenly became too bright for him to even open his eyes.

"Bye! Goodluck!"

And when he opened his eyes, he was standing in front of their school gates.

It has been years, but seeing this the second time, he felt a new beginning as well as pain when he saw Thelize walking alone behind her friends.

"I'll save you," he whispered and ran to her.
