A Day Before Departure
"Why did you call the four of us, Misaki-sensei?"
A day before their departure, the four members of the Dwarf Cat-eared Elf, along with Vier's new pet slime, Puro-IV, had been summoned by Misaki to her office at Adventurers School.
Vier, Mifumi, Felin, and Rozze find their beloved teacher, along with her assistant Leaena, already waiting for them after arriving at Misaki's office.
The reason why Misaki has summoned the Dwarf Cat-eared Elf before their journey heading for the Adventurers Academy at the floating island of Liber is to give them a bit of explanation regarding the truth behind the Rank 6 Black Weretiger Monster incident.
After the Dwarf Cat-eared Elf took their seats on the couch in front of Misaki's desk, Misaki began explaining the two most important things about the said incident.
"The Rein Empire Assassins' goals are to eliminate you, Mifumi-chan, and to kidnap or eliminate you as well, Felin-chan."
