As They were being erased, Alex was thinking " I was good, so why is this happening, I was saving the world, I was a hero, I wasn't bad" I thought the creator was a hero.

"I used to believe in heroes. I used to believe that there were people out there who would go above and beyond to protect the innocent, to fight for what's right. But I was wrong. All this time, I've been living a lie.

The truth is, heroes only care about themselves. They don't care about the people they claim to protect. They don't care about the collateral damage they cause. All they care about is their own egos and their own sense of self-righteousness.
