He Wants Me

A girl with a torn dress walked into the dense forest with a limp.

One of the woman's legs was broken during a fierce battle against 7 vampires alone. Even though she managed to kill the vampire she met, it was not a victory because now she had to escape from the pursuit of dozens of monsters hiding in the shadows.

"How many of them are there, really? 11...21...41... Damn, they're over 50."

Fighting just 7 vampires had almost killed her, and now more than 50 vampires were chasing her.

Two vampires hiding in the shadows walked through the forest and stopped where many vampires had died.

A vampire dressed in a suit took a deep breath to find the girl who should be responsible for this mess.

She was shocked when a hand pierced out from inside the tree and immediately caught her hand.

She tried to free herself by swinging her dagger. Still, before her attack hit the vampire, another hand from the front grabbed her by the collar and pulled her out from behind the tree.

Reeva was lifted with one arm hanging.

The moonlight shone through the forest, and the brown eyes that Reeva saw slowly turned bright red.

"With things this bad, I'm surprised you're still putting up a fight."

Just a glimpse of the vampire prince knew that some of Reeva's bones had been broken and her condition was very weak from losing too much blood. He knew she would be dead in a few hours without needing to do anything to her.

"Damn vampire, I'll kill you!" With a stern look, Reeva was annoyed at having to die at the hands of a monster she hated.

"That look... I love it. Even though it's at the end of your life, I don't see fear in your eyes. It would be a waste if you had to die now."

"I'd rather die if I have to be liked by monsters."

"I thought humans would be gentler when they were about to meet their death. You seem like a unique human. Not only does your blood smell delicious, but you also look strong. I want you more and more, be mine."

"What a stupid offer! Even if I die... I won't..." With an angry tone, Reeva refused the vampire prince's stupid offer. But because of her too much anger, she experienced pain in her head and lost consciousness.

"Don't die yet! I still haven't heard your wish for the next life."

Even though her vision had blurred, Reeva still heard the vampire prince's question. Even her cheek was gently tapped.

"Eradicated... the monster that took... my happiness." In a low voice, she answered even though she didn't want to talk to monsters in her heart.

Her vision turned pitch black, and her body felt light at that moment before an excruciating pain shot through her neck. At the same time, a strange feeling also assaulted her. Even though she could endure the pain, the impact she felt was extraordinary.

She couldn't move and felt weak, but on the other hand, her body felt very hot.

Reeva felt goosebumps from his low voice. She took the blanket and tucked it in to cover her body. She could hear a hint of laughter.

The man pulled the hair from her face with a friendly touch and got off the bed.

Before she could figure out what was happening, her eyes followed him.

One strange thing she realized was that even in the dark, she could see the man's figure.

'What happened to me?'

The outstretched shoulders and beautifully positioned back muscles caught her attention. As she lowered her gaze along the line of her spine, she could see muscles attached to the thighs of the appropriate thickness.

Since she couldn't take her eyes off his body, she lifted her head when she felt his gaze on him.

Reeva gasped when she saw his brown eyes facing her.

Seeing those same eyes filled with intimidation, Reeva reflexively touched her neck.

"Aw, what have you done to me?" She was surprised when her neck hurt so much to the touch.

"I've never heard that its effects can make someone forget their memories." The man looked surprised when he saw Reeva confused about what had happened to her.

"What impact do you mean? Tell me clearly!" Reeva was annoyed because she didn't remember what had happened yesterday.

"It would be dangerous if I told you straight away. You better find out yourself. I'll give you a clue that you died last night."

Reeva cringed when she heard the clue that didn't make sense.

"What the hell? If I died last night, why am I even here?" Reeva was wide-eyed when little by little, her memories began to return.

She remembers that last night she was on a mission with Aria to eradicate vampires. Still, she ended up sadly because dozens of vampires attacked her.

"You seem to have remembered it." The Vampire Prince smiled as Reeva was silent for a long time with wide eyes.

Her worried expression slowly turned to anger. She swiftly took the knife from the fruit basket and pointed it at the vampire prince.

"Damn vampire! Who allowed you to make me yours!"

"So this is your payback to the person who saved you?" The vampire prince just sat relaxed without looking the least bit panicked. He didn't think Reeva's actions were a threat at all.

"I didn't ask you to save me at all!"

"You think this little knife can hurt me?" Without moving, the Vampire Prince invites Reeva to attack him.

Without hesitation, Reeva directly stabbed the vampire prince's left chest. Still, strangely the knife actually slipped when it hit his chest.

'Very hard!' Reeva stared and immediately jumped back.

"I told you, didn't I? Don't compare me to all the vampires you've killed." The vampire prince glanced back before standing up and opening his cupboard.

While he was getting dressed, Reeva looked around the chamber for her twin daggers. Only that weapon is the most powerful to use to kill vampires.

"Where's my gun?!"

"Those are dangerous weapons. I better not tell you where they are. Miss... did you hear me?! She ran away. I forgot that she is a monster hunter. But it doesn't matter. Sooner or later, she will come back here again." The vampire prince just smiled after knowing that his property had run away.
