19. Regret

After throwing the contract at Chen Wei's face, Wang Yuting removed the sound barrier and walked out of the room where Chen Wei was being treated.

Leaving Chen Wei alone in a miserable state, Wang Yuting, after exiting the room, immediately leaned against the wall with a body that seemed to have lost its strength and a face full of regret.

"I let my emotions get the better of me, and I did something I shouldn't have," she said weakly while leaning against the wall.

"But, in the future, I will redeem myself," she added with a regretful expression.

Taking a deep breath, she grabbed her phone and contacted her guard.

"Bring me a set of men's clothing," she said coldly, still maintaining her composure.

"Alright, boss."

Closing the phone, Wang Yuting continued leaning against the wall, waiting for her guard to arrive with the requested clothing.

On the other side, Chen Wei stared at the ceiling with mixed thoughts and emotions. "Terrifying, truly terrifying," he thought.

At this point, Chen Wei had experienced trauma; if he saw Wang Yuting's body, he would tremble incessantly.

While contemplating in fear, he felt a piece of paper near him. Grabbing the paper with trembling hands, he began to read.

The more Chen Wei read, the more his heart sank, holding the contract paper with trembling hands. "I-is this still a normal contract?" he said in fear.
