The Hunt 2

The fox was called purple twig sakura fox. It was a desolute beast whose favorite food was the new born. When Jing Sheng first saw it, it was feeding on an infant.

Same happened with the wolf pack. The myriad wolf gave birth which attracted the purple twig sakura fox. It slaughtered all the pack and ate the new born without any care of the world.

In this world of 9 villages and one city it was the strongest.

It felt no threat and was living the dream. No one was here to obstruct it like before. She was now on the top of food chain.

Nothing could even injure it. But now she got an anonymous feeling. The fox had forgotten this feeling long ago. It was fear, fear of death.

Booom!

The explosive went off. The near by ground all vibrated violently. From a far it was like a waterfall from hell. All the destructive force was concentrated on a single point. And from their all the force and fire reached the sky.

It was a beautiful scene to behold.

The Purple Twig Sakura fox was a desolute beast with excellent battle strength but its physical body was small and timid and the defense was somewhat low compared to the other desolute beast.

Jing Sheng's Luck Qi was astonishing! First the fox was already gravely injured and second even without knowing he some how hit the weak aspect of the fox and it was the best plan there could be, the enemy was just to strong for him to face head on. The thrust created by potato mine explosion helped the metal scrap inside the fox push forward and it penetrated the heart.

Jing Sheng without a thought ran towards the fox to confirm that it was dead. He reached when all the dust dissipated.

There he saw the fox lying on the ground.

Its beautiful pink fur were burned and burned purple body was visible. But it was still alive, breathing heavily. It looked at Jing Sheng and released killing intent that even the atmosphere got heavy and Jing Sheng felt a bit pressure.

"I am not afraid of you" Jing Sheng said in an empty and cold voice. Then he followed up by opening his metal pouch gu and taking out a small explosive.

He then used his grass puppet gu and created a grass puppet.

He then willed and the grass puppet stabbed the explosives into the fox's mouth then deep in its throat.

Bite! The fox bit of the puppets arm. It was in a miserable state but still had the strength to move its jaw.

Jing Sheng got back to a safe distance then took out something from the metal pouch gu.

It was a remote detonator!

With a single press of the thumb...the once proud fox's throat blew up and it was beheaded! No matter what creature it is vulnerable from the inside beside some exception of species.

Jing Sheng stood there still.

A feeling of accomplishment hit him. He was somewhat proud and happy.

"Master Jing Sheng!" Chin Hae called out.

Jing Sheng turned around...there was nothing there...nothing…it was a void. Everything had disappeared. Jing Sheng turned around again and nothing was there too. It was like he had teleported.

Within his moments of confusion, he saw a light! Within this void that was the only light here. The light got closer and closer to him, he wasn't moving but the light was coming his way.

When it came extremely close Jing Sheng saw that it was a fire fly. A voice resounded through out the void.

"Mortal you have completed the condition for the ownership of this blessed land and now you are the new master of this Hyun Ae blessed land. I am the land spirit of this blessed land." After saying this Hyun Ae land spirit gave Jing Sheng multiple mortal gu.

They were rank 5 information path gu worms with everyone one of them containing information.

Jing Sheng with his gold primeval essence activated one of the gu worm and information got fed in his mind. This information was related to the Five Regions and Two Heavens and all the super influences and other influences residing in the five regions.

Jing Sheng then used another gu worm which had information related to the immortal world. Like how it worked and details about treasure yellow haven and the ranks of immortal and how to become an immortal.

In the next 7-8 gu worms was information related to all the gu worms, their names and effects (all that was known commonly to the five regions immortal that is) and also information about immortal materials.

In the next gu worm was information related to the ten venerable that existed since the beginning of time and their achievements and unparallel strength.

In the next gu worm was information related to this blessed land that how, the owner of this blessed land was a Rank 7 multi cultivating Void and Refinement path.

But he got a transformation path earthly calamity which summoned the desolute beast purple twig sakura fox. He was already badly injured from the backlash of refining an immortal gu and was on the verge of death so was killed by a mere desolute beast not even a far desolute beast.

The owner of this blessed land was too proud.

He would rather die by the backlash but not from a desolute beast when he is rank 7. So when his obsession took the shape of the land spirit the condition for ownership was to kill the desolute fox.

"The Five Regions and two heavens…..damn that is vast. And here I was celebrating. I'm not even a pebble compared to a rank 6 not to mention the upper ranks especially Rank 9 Venerable!"

Jing Sheng paused for a second and asked the land spirit

"Are Venerable really matchless no one can defeat them?"

"Correct they can even slaughter rank 8 expert like flies not to mention the likes of us msater" Land Spirit said with emotions.

"Then that is it!" Jing Sheng said roared

"What master?" land spirit asked out of concern.

'I promised myself that I'll become strong in this life! No matter what I won't be weak anymore! If I showed any weakness others will hinder my work that I am fond of' Jing Sheng remembered his promise.

"I will become a Venerable! I will become the strongest Venerable! Even if the heavens decline themselves I will become a Venerable or I'll die trying to become one! This world gave me a hope of accomplishing my goal..." he smirked saying so.
