The Caravan

"Wake up senior Jing Sheng" Bo Chun said in a sweet voice "The Clan Leader has asked you to join him for breakfast at the banquet, he also wants to discuss what had happened to you yesterday"

Bo Chun saw as Jing Sheng waved his hand as he was half asleep.

"I'll be there shortly you can go"

"Ok senior" Bo Chun left a little disappointed.

Jing Sheng was already awake he just acted like this to avoid sudden summons.

He gave a long sigh and jumped out of the bed straight to the bath. After taking the bath he wore the attire provided to him with the accommodations. It was a silver attire matching with Jing Sheng's platinum hair and white eyes. He gave a dignified aura.

And after that he left the mushroom house which was actually a rank 3 gu worm. He had learned it yesterday. When he arrived at the main hall Bo Chun was waiting for him at the entrance and greeted Jing Sheng.

After that she led him to the banquet hall. There were 13 people including Bo Que. Jing Sheng's seat was right beside Bo Que.

There was a lot of food and just from the looks of it and the smell it gave the feeling of luxury

'Using expensive materials as food they really are pulling every possible string they can'

"For brother Jing Sheng we have cooked the specialty of our clan half roasted 'tiger stripe rabbit' hahaha enjoy" Bo Que said in an elegant way.

Taste didn't matter to Jing Sheng. All he cared about what the food contained, if he would get enough nutrients it didn't matter how the food tasted, smelled or looked like. But still he put up an act and munched the food like he was enjoying.

After the breakfast was over, they asked Jing Sheng about the incident and Jing Sheng without hiding anything told them the truth about the bodies and the pink fox.

When he mentioned the pink fox, everyone got startled.

"Pink Fox? Brother you might be mistaken there is no such creature as you have described…you said you got amnesia so you can't remember how you got there…maybe it is a side effect that you may have mistaken the fox… around Bo village there are lynx groups…you may have encountered a beast king with rank 5 battle strength…that would explain your condition"

"Yeah brother Bo Que may be right"

He didn't find any information on the pink fox. But learnt other things.

'Wow isn't this world too small? There are only 9 villages of this scale and a city in the middle…this whole world is even smaller than the smallest city where I am from strange..'

'Well I should head to the city I will find better gu worms there'

Jing Sheng was in deep thought when Bo Que told him

"Brother Sheng there will be a caravan coming to our Bo Village today they have the goods of all the villages and few from the city too I prefer brother to pay a visit you might find something use full"

"I appreciate brother Que for the advice I will certainly visit"

This was an unexpected turn of events.

'It is like something is leading me first the trench now the caravan' (hehe to those who have read Fate Great War Arc you can figure out what this something is)

Jing Sheng chatted with Bo Que and the elders hoping to learn something and found out that this world had something called 'End Walls' from where the world ends and you can't go beyond. He also got a map.

'This is ridiculous I thought that the villages maybe afar…but they are close enough for a day's journey and the same goes for the city to…this is a lot smaller than what I had in mind before.'

'All the villages have a Rank 4 Gu Master as the leader and the city has the Rank 5 City lord…I am rank 4 peak stage so if I advance to Rank 5…will I be the strongest?'

'Well I got to try…one step at a time first let me improve my battle strength if I showed weakness then someone else will decide my fate.....'

Saying so with Bo Chun, he headed to the market and shopped for mortal materials.

"This is the red sand you asked me for sir gu master 40kg will cost you half a primeval stone." The mortal shopkeeper told in a humble voice

"I'll take 100kg" saying so Jing Sheng paid one and a half primeval stones.

The mortal got startled because red sand was a common material whose demand was not so much but supply was high. It was usually used to start fires by mortals. He hastily packed the stuff and was about to send a mortal to carry this stuff for Jing Sheng but Jing Sheng stopped him. Red sand was combustible and Jing Sheng was planning to use it in something like a detonator for the potato mine gu. He put the red sand in his Lotus Pouch gu.

Next, he strolled all around town and visited each and every shop and bought what ever he thought was useful. Three days later the caravan arrived.

Cicadas! Huge Cicadas about seven of them. This was rank 2 Plain back cicada gu worm which was used as a mean of transportation. The leader of this caravan was a rank 3 female gu master. She had black hair with a straight face wearing ripped sleeves shirt from where you could see her muscular arms.

She arrived and payed respect to Bo Que who was waiting at the entrance

"Junior pays respect to reverend Bo clan leader" she said in a dignified manner

"Sister Xue Ne there is no need for formalities we've known each other for so long"

"hahahaha how have you been brother Bo Que?" Xue Ne asked

"Ahh I'm getting old and tired I want the younger generation to progress and take my place so I can finally rest"

"Brother Que you are lazy as ever"

"haha you are right sister…let us go we have prepared a banquet for your arrival sister Ne"

Saying so they both left for the banquet.

Bo Chun came and invited Jing Sheng to the banquet but he declined saying that he was looking forward to the caravan so there was no way Bo Chun a rank 2 gu master could persuade Jing Sheng a rank 4 expert.

So, she had to lead him to the caravan. There were multiple stands selling mortal materials and gu worm food. He took a look and bought food for his gu worms and some other materials. Then he headed towards the place where they were selling Gu worms.
