Attainment

Attainment in itself is like a special kind of intuition that helps the Gu Master to make the correct choices to solve a problem at hand. The different levels are like the comprehension of mathematical problems and their solutions. By answering many 'mathematics' questions, a Gu Master can accumulate experiences when getting the correct answer, eventually, they will understand the crux of them, gaining enlightenment and raising the Gu Master's attainment level. With newfound comprehension, they can now solve other related 'mathematics' quests more easily. When a Gu Master encounters a very unfamiliar question, they can use their existing knowledge of the other solved problems to answer at least a portion of the unfamiliar question.

Attainment can be gained by slow accumulation during the nurturing and use of Gu but also through true meaning, found in dream realms and inheritances of supreme experts. When the attainment is raised through the latter two methods, the Gu Master needs to accumulate experiences to make full use of their attainment.

The following are the attainment levels/realms of the Great Dao:

1- Ordinary: Equivalent to mortal Gu Masters in achievements in their main path.

Most mortal Gu Masters would at best only have ordinary attainment in their, their whole lives.

2- Quasi-Master: Most were geniuses or old and experienced mortal Gu Masters.

3- Master: Equivalent to rank 6 Gu Immortals in achievements in their main path.

Extremely rare to find, for example, in a million people, only five would acquire master realm.

Master Realm is the level when one's use of Gu advances to the level of an art. It can only be reached if one has an abundant talent or constantly trains and increases their comprehension.

Master attainment level generates intuition to matters related to the path.

4- Quasi-Grandmaster: Those who possess quasi-grandmaster attainment are often elites among rank 6 Gu Immortals.

5- Grandmaster: Equivalent to rank 7 Gu Immortal in achievements in their main path. It usually takes hundreds of years in accumulation.

Grandmaster realm is when one had a very profound grasp of their path. With their deep foundation, they could use inductive reasoning to utilize their own path's methods to imitate and make use of the specialty traits and advantages of other paths.

6- Quasi-Great Grandmaster: Above grandmaster is quasi-great grandmaster, which is even rarer, those are often rank 7 experts or certain rank 8's.

7- Great Grandmaster: Equivalent to rank 8 Gu Immortal in achievements in their main path. It usually takes thousands of years of accumulation.

Great grandmaster would allow the Gu Master to utilize the naturally occurring dao marks in the environment.

Gu Immortals who attained this level were very close to their knowledge and understanding the profundities of their path.

Great grandmaster attainment level allows the use of natural dao marks.

8- Quasi-Supreme Grandmaster: Those who were able to attain quasi-supreme grandmaster are scarce, few were produced even in thousands of years.

9- Supreme Grandmaster: Equivalent to rank 9 Gu Immortal in achievements in their main path. Will depend on talent, without it even after ten thousand years it will be impossible to become a supreme grandmaster.

Supreme grandmasters are those that could innovate application and methods beyond the limits of the world and obtain the mysteries and secrets of their path that did not even exist in the current world. They can be said to be one step ahead of heaven and earth.

On becoming a Supreme Grandmaster in a path and achieving Rank 9 Venerable Cultivation, that Gu Master becomes a Dao Lord who can sense all of the natural dao marks of heaven and earth of that particular path and refine them to manipulate them at will. For a Dao Lord, the entire world is, in a sense, their battlefield killer move.
