Prologue

Year 3012, Milky Way Galaxy,

In the boundless space, a giant red sun blazed with fury, surrounded not by the usual eight planets of the solar system, but the remaining four, each on its last breath.

Earth stood forefront and pitiful, Uranus the coldest, Neptune on the verge of destruction, and lastly, Jupiter, or 'CAI,' positioned almost at the far end, with two large rings crisscrossing and shielding it from the heat.

Near Earth, the International Space Station could be seen stationed with thousands of space warships surrounding it, a futile attempt by mankind to survive the world-ending cataclysm they were about to face.

Inside one of the ship's cabins sat five middle-aged individuals and a twenty-year-old young man. Despite their dire situation, no one dared to disrespect the young man using seniority, not because of their circumstances or Mankind's long-discarded social shackles, but because he was the Squadron Commander of N-07, one of the top ten strongest squadrons of humankind. Yet, despite his rank, the atmosphere remained relaxed, as everyone present was family and friends.

"No one could've predicted this... no one!" shouted Adonis, A black haired fat man. The best friend of the young commander's father, who was also in the room.

"The universe is boundless and limitless with all kinds of Phenomenas, Adonis. It's our humanity's mistake to relax and view it with shallow perspectives, our second greatest mistake," Vice Leader Bumba spoke, a tall Blackman of significant importance in the Intergalactic Army of Humanity.

The cabin fell silent at the mention of humanity's second greatest mistake.

"There's no need for you to mention that 'Second' and spoil the last seconds of our lives like that, Bumba," the young commander's father interjected. He has a striking red hair, blue eyes and a handsome face.

"Sigh," Bumba sighed, continuing, "I'm just happy we aren't facing our end in those abominations we created, the greatest mistake of humanity," with a ferocious grin, he looked toward the distant Jupiter, or 'CAI.'

"Hey, do you think 'CAI' will survive when the Giant Red blast hits within two hours?"

Jupiter, known as 'CAI' in recent history, represented the Civilisation of Artificial Intelligence, evoking feelings of regret and shame among mankind. Rage being the second.

"Hahahahaha... not unless they learn to drill a hole in space," the father laughed mockingly, glancing at his son, who sat on the couch facing the Viewport, engrossed in an ancient-looking book.

"You're still reading that old book...Fang Huo?" the father questioned.

Fang Huo tilted his head from the book and answered, "this is the last chapter, Dad. It will be over... very soon," shifting his gaze from the book to the outside. A phenomenal View of danger and beauty with the 'Almighty Red' being the Protagonist and Antagonist.

'Just like him…'

"It's my mistake to give you that book back then... Haan! I thought you would mature by reading it, not become addicted to it," Fang Tian grumbled, feeling ignored by his son.

"Hehe, tell me, Dad... why did our Ancestor never finished this book?" Fang Huo smiled, trying to lighten the atmosphere.

"How should I know?— Wait a minute... is that your concern in this situation?" Fang Tian feigned shock. Evoking laughter from rest of them.

They all knew they were trying to escape reality by avoiding thoughts of their inability to save their family or homeland. In this cursed situation, all they could do was indulge in the illusion of deception.

Fang Huo smiled with bitter eyes. After all, who can stop a natural disaster? Who can predict a natural disaster of this magnitude? Can such an event still be called a natural disaster? It was a catastrophe that threatened to end everything they had known and built.

Even the Mortal enemy of Humankind will face destruction alongside them. Once and for all.

At least, that's what he thought...

He glanced down at the incomplete book in his hand, now a thousand years old, which had accompanied him since childhood. A book that only he knew in the present world.

The boundary between reality and fantasy ceased to exist when he read this book.

"Reverend Insanity."

TOG being super slow… I just thought, why not write another Fanfic? So, should I continue writing this?
