Hello, this is the author again. This is the chapter where something important happens. Thank me :) Anyway, let's get to an actually important matter,

Thank you to AZATH0TH for the power stones and a VERY SPECIAL thanks to Blank writer for THREE power stones. Like, holy shit! Who even has that many?

Also, Which path do you guys like more? Sword path or blade path.

By the way, are any of you fond of Itadori Yuji's fist thingy from JJK? (i forgot the name, sorry if I'm wrong)

...…...

"Wei Huan only walked 22 steps!?"

"No way, dude!"

Even the tribe elder seemed surprised. He soon took a deep breath and sighed in disappointment. He soon narrowed his eyes at Wei Huan and sternly said:

"Stand near the entrance, boy! What are you waiting around for?"

Wei Huan stared downwards and slowly walked towards the entrance. He slowly turned to his side and stood near the entrance, thinking:

"Only a C grade... Well…. At Least I have some talent right? It isn't all bad."

He slowly looked upwards and around himself, seeing his peers and the others look at him with pity.

"Stop with those fucking looks.... I'm still the same Wei Huan as before." Wei Huan thought,

"All of you who still stand here, I expect to be at the academy tomorrow morning. Don't be late, if you are, I'll skin you alive myself."

"This guy is even more intense than he was before…." Wei Huan thought,

The elder left, but not before taking one last glance at Wei Huan, his gaze filled with pity and disappointment at the same time.

The other kids as well as Wei Huan walked out of the cavern. The sunlight stung their eyes, the elder had left and their parents had returned home.

"It seems that our Wei Huan has fallen from grace" A boy said sarcastically,

"Shut up, man" another boy, replied,

"It's alright…" Wei Huan spoke,

The boys soon split up and headed home,

The lovely afternoon appearing more like a rainy night to Wei Huan. He had gone from being the best, the most talented one in his generation to someone with little talent.

"I hate their looks… How fucking dare those little shits look at me like that? Aren't I still powerful? Aren't I still a gu master? Don't I have a chance to be someone great?"

"Am I so doomed? Can't I still cultivate? After all, I heard that our clan treasury has a liquor worm… If I can get my hands on it…."

"I could at least become a rank 4 right? Besides, what kind of person gets sent to another world just to fail?"

"Yeah, I can do it."

Wei Huan shook his head, assuring himself of his future, he walked back towards his house.

The door flung open, banging against the wall making a huge sound. Wei Huan took some deep breaths attempting to calm down so he wouldn't worry his "parents".

Naturally, If these were his parents from his past life, David would still feel a certain degree of closeness and feel free to be vulnerable around them. The issue was that they weren't. He already had parents, he didn't want any more.

Of course, he felt thankful towards them for raising him for all these years but he simply could not acknowledge them as parents. They felt more like babysitters or distant relatives than parents.

This was why he worried about disappointing them rather than feeling free to tell them all that happend.

He soon walked into the living room, seeing his dad sitting on the sofa, reading a book as usual and his mom in the kitchen preparing lunch like always.

His father looked upwards upon hearing the door slam open. He asked Wei Huan:

"Have you awakened your aperture?"

"Yes" Wei Huan replied before walking upstairs and shutting the door.

"Honey…." his mother called out, but it was too late.

His mom stopped chopping vegetables before asking his father:

"What did we do wrong?... Did we ever hurt him? Have we mistreated him?..."

"I don't know….." his father replied, staring into space, feeling both ashamed and confused.

"Why does my son ignore me like this?"

His mother replied, slowly lowering her head into the cutting board and beginning to sob.

His father stood up from the sofa and walked towards his mother, patting her on the back to comfort her before hugging her from behind.

Wei Huan shut the door to his room and laid down upon his bed staring at the dark wooden ceiling before closing his eyes and falling asleep, twisting and turning.

David opened his eyes to find himself sinking into a deep ocean, the smell of fish filling his nostrils. David suddenly began flailing around wildly, seeing bubbles of water float upwards. David opened his mouth and began screaming, his eyes red and mouth agape, tears almost welling up in his eyes.

David slowly recollected himself and began frantically swimming downwards, his mouth opening and closing, almost as if he was trying to say something. David suddenly became weight less.

He began floating upwards. David attempted to resist, trying to swim downwards even more frantically screaming with tears almost welling up in his eyes.

David's arms and legs flailed wildly with even greater force, it was all for naught as he could not resist the great force sending him upwards. His eyes and mouth were wide open, almost as if he was some kind of caricature.

David could not resist. He floated to the top of the lake, suddenly going completely and utterly limp, feeling despair, a single tear rolling down from his eyes

"Please forgive me." David said,
