Chapter 002

"Excuse me, I want to meet Keesa. here's my Hunters license." saying he extended his hand

"Hmph, you fool! How dare you low level say our chairwoman's name without any honorifics?"

"Oh, pardon me. I want to meet the old hag, Keesa. Can you..... please lead the way?"

This playful reply enraged the entrance guard even more. He took his Glock Gun like weapon to attack, at that time when their two eyes met each other, he felt sudden chill in his spine. He just stood there like a statue holding his weapon pointed against Ravula. Ravula was just standing there smiling. That smile gives the creep out of it.

Oh my God... What is this simple-mind doing? Is he going to make us all dead? I need to act soon before the situation gets out of hand.

While sensing the situation, another guard soon bowed down and apologized frantically like a mad man and led his way to the chairwoman's cabin. While leading his way he just turned his head slightly to check on the fellow entrance guard. He was relieved that another was just standing like a statue. The bounty hunter's headquarters building is one of the most luxurious buildings in the entire Bakamo Kingdom. Even among the noble houses there, it is a piece of art. The building was nearly 100 meters tall. It is always crowded. Providing services 24x7. If you want to enter the building, you need to have a bounty hunter license or you need to be high ranking military official typically above or equal to General level authority. Even with the bounty hunters license there are places which are off limits to normal silver level bounty hunters.

If you want to enter the chairwoman's room it'll be impossible to enter without any prior appointment even for the nobles. But the situation here is different. He knows the man who is standing with him. He's one of the few members in the entire kingdom who can sit on an equal footing with their chairwomen. He knows what had happened to the previous guard who didn't allow this man. There was only a pile of meat on the floor that was waiting to be packed while the red color fresh blood ran through the steps to touch the road. Not even bones remained intact. He doesn't know what happened because the man in suite before him was just standing calmly smiling even before the pile of meat that was a guard on duty only a few seconds ago. He was just standing there but no one except him noticed the man. The guard nearly pissed himself. On sensing something was wrong, chairwoman herself came down to the scene. But to his surprise, she doesn't say anything about the pile of meat that was once a guard. She invited the man inside to one of the VVIP rooms and signaled him to clean up the mess. He has no choice but to clean up the fellow guard's meat. He knows the chairwoman even before she got that position. He saw, for the first time in 15 years of his service that their chairwoman was a bit timorous around someone.

At that time there was a huge clamor on who killed the guard at the entrance. But to surprise everyone, chairwoman took the chiding by herself and said that the guard was sleeping during his duty time. But everyone knows that there's no way an entrance guard could possibly sleep on daytime duty. It increased the conjecture about the identity of the murderer. But there is no one brave enough to ask her. That's how scary the chairwoman was. After all, the dead guard was just a lowly employee who was dust in these higher officials' eyes. That's why he was very careful on leading the way to their chairwoman's house. As soon as they were outside of the room, he knocked the door twice and explained the situation to the chairwoman and soon he excused himself from there, running without even turning his back as if a deer escaping from the cheetah.

Keesa doesn't waver at all after hearing Ravula had come to meet her. But inside her she was thinking this time what problem they're gonna create. I have to clean up their mess. Such a pain in the ass.  Why am I the only one getting this punishment?

She doesn't know who these two were. But she knows very well that these two possess immense power which can even topple the empire. She doesn't know where these two people had come from or what purpose they had in the kingdom? But she knows one thing for sure. Don't make an enemy with them. If you do it'll be not good for her and also for their kingdom.

Ravula doesn't wait for the reply from the other side. As if it was his own room he barged straight into the room. It was his second time in the bounty hunter's organization. As soon as he entered the room there was a pleasant scent that assaulted his nose. Everywhere inside the room there are artistic pictures portraying previous chairpersons of the bounty hunter's organization. From the look of it, Keesa doesn't lack a little bit of charisma from other leaders. In fact, she's even better than them. She had medium sized fruits that will induce lust among every man. There are 54 pictures there. Out of which there's only 17 were men and the remaining all were women with stunning beauty. They all are maybe a beauty of the era.

"Good morning, old lady"

After seeing you there will be no good morning. Only bad morning for me.

"I told you not to come here. If anything, you need, you should call my assistant. Why are you not using the magic phone I gave you?"

"Oh, that piece of trash. I've already sold it at the pawn shop. It is only worth a three-day meal. Not even worth mentioning."

"Whaaa, I think in the whole world you are the first person in history to sell a magic phone for food. Do you have any idea how that thing costs? Anyway, it's just a waste of my energy to argue with you. "

"Oh! and also, another thing is that there's always this feeling that someone is watching behind my back. Can you explain that to me, old geezer? I was just a simpleton."

I knew this was coming. It was my mistake to send an upper elite to tail him.

"I.. It's… It's for your own good. Yeah, it's for your own good. When there's an accident, we can easily come to help you." She's sweating all over her beautiful body. Due to sweating her bra was slightly visible. But this doesn't even bother him a single bit.

"If you're trying to get on someone's back, then you should be prepared for the losses." Ravula said with a sinister smile.

It was a slap in the face. But Keesa was not worried about this. Instead, she was happy that he doesn't do anything crazy like creating a blood bath inside the capital right way. She knows perfectly well that it was a warning from him. She was already thankful for that.

She was a person who valued life over anything. She believes that for greater good, some evil is necessary. During the previous incident she was a bit regretful for the guard. But that's all she can feel, more than that is not possible. If the man before her asked another guard's life she'll surely gave his life to him. Because refusing what Ravula asked will create greater loss to them than one guard's life. That's how she worked, always focusing on the greater good.

"Anyway, what business do you have here? If you are here to tell this then can you please leave. I'll sort that matter out. I have a pile of work waiting for me to finish."

"I'm not here to discuss that. We are taking that job." Pointing his finger at the table where a monster's face is printed on the paper, with 10,000 Silver Mo below the picture indicating the bounty's worth.

"That....That's an unidentified monster. That thing had already killed a handful of our skilled hunters. You should be careful on dealing with him."

Hmph. Just go and die already. You're worse than that monster. It had already killed several platinum bounty hunters. It even killed a diamond bounty hunter. My plan already worked. I knew you would take that job. So, I deliberately placed that paper on my desk.

When she turned to check on him, Ravula had already disappeared from her room. An excellent idea suddenly popped into her head.

The entrance guard returned to his position and tried to explain the situation to the other one who was just petrified by the Ravula's look. When he started to say the facts at that moment the guard noticed there was a mild red line in the other guard's neck. And then the head slowly steadily started to fall to the ground and began rolling onto the road.

Thud.....thud....thud....

The people who were entering and exiting the building all became silent on noticing the situation. But to add to their befuddlement, no one was near the headless dead guard's body.
