10 - Becoming More Observant

" He FELL IN LOVE with LUCY!" Blaze screamed out.

Laughter then follow suit, it was really amusing.

" I know, i wouldn't have believe it if it wasn't happening in front of me. The little boy literally has hearts in his eyes."

" Why are you making it sound like it's a big deal? Even if he has a crush on me, it doesn't mean that it will last forever. He's just experiencing a new stage in his life."

" You mean a new stage called love?"

" Ivar, you seriously want me to come over there and get you?"

" I'm so scared. The leader wants to kILL M- SHE REALLY DOES, TINU HELP ME!"

Ivar then ran towards Tinuviel making Lucy chase after her. When she reached the pair, she then stopped and looks at Ivar who was hading behind a confuse Tinuviel.

After a while, they all suddenly bursted out laughing.

' It really has been a long time since we get to laugh like this.'

' True, my eyes is watering up because of excessive laughter."

' Let's change our plan for today. How about staying at the inn and just rest.'

' YES, let's do that. We can spend this time catching up with each other. We were all busy the last few months that we didn't get the chance to just have a decent conversation.'

' I agree.'

' Me, too.'

They then all agreed on the idea.

" Anyways, how did you manage to find us."

" Are you seriously asking us that?" Blaze then received a flick to the forehead by Ivar.

" I JUST WANTED TO KNOW, NO NEED TO BE MEAN." Blaze pouted.

With that the lousiest pair of the group started bickering with each other.

The other four supposedly more mature members were watching the pair bicker. It was not a rare scenario for the group but they haven't seen it for so long, that the moment seem to be unreal.

Truth to be told, all 7 members didn't believe that it was truly happening. They all thought that this was just a too good to be true dream but when they got to experience multiple times, they finally started to realized that it was indeed true.

" Anyways, Sister. When can we meet your little sweetheart."

" Really? Why'd you bring that up again?"

" Because it's too interesting and it's my fir-SLAM!"

Suddenly a loud noise rang through their room.

" YOU LOT BETTER SHUT UP!" A new voice said.

The group then turned their gaze towards the door. Since the light was still on, they could see every feature of the person.

The 4 members that booked the inn then realized who the figure was, she was the SCARY INNKEEPER!

' Who is she?' Ivar asked.

' She's the innkeeper. I think we were too loud and disrupt some of the customers."

" It's already so late and you kids are still yelling your lungs out. Go to sleep and dont disrupt others."

By the look on the lady's face, she was annoyed but thankfully not threatening.

" We apologize, the voice will be stopped immediately."

" It better stop." and with that she closed the door and walked away.

' That was truly careless of us. We were all too occupied that we forgot the time."

' We didn't even set an enchantment!'

' Let's stop this conversation here and sleep. I'm exhausted.'

They all then agreed. Lucy, Ara, Tinuviel, and Aella started to head to the door to return to their own room.

' Everest, to answer your question. You will be able to meet him 7 days from now.' And with that Lucy closed the door and set an enchantment.

" WHAT!" The three youngest yelled. Thankfully, the enchantment was set on time and prevented them from getting another complaint.

The group then started to walk to their rooms. Lucy and Tinuviel enter one, while Ara and Aella went in another one.

' We shouldn't have told them about the kid's crush on you.'

' What do you mean shouldn't. You and Ivar should have helped me during those moments."

" Stop sulking, it was quite a scene that is too rare to miss.'

' Anyways, what do you think about him?'

' You've been asking me that multiple times, and my answer is interesting.'

' Tinu, please send someone to investigate him. I have a feeling that there is more to what we originally think.'

'Hmm... let's go to sleep.'

And with that they decided to end the night with that note.

It was almost the end of the 3rd Jal and the preparations for the excursion was almost done. Unfortunately the one in charge, Ruke didn't get to sleep and was quite cranky.

When the clock indicates it was the end of the 3rd Jal, the almighty demon heir appeared. He was dressed in an extravagant outfit with many jewels embedded in the outfit. It really was the sight.

Ruke looked at him confusingly, didn't he wanted to visit Ronel. Why is he dressing like that?

" Your highness, why are you dressed like that?"

" We're going on an excursion aren't we? I figure that if I wear something like this, it would help?"

Ruke's confused face turned into an emotionless one.

Why is the person that I'm suppose to be loyal to so STUPID and UNOBSERVANT!

If you ask anyone, you need to go in disguise to get to know the lifestyle of citizens who definitely doesn't have the need to look at your clothes. There is a better chance that they might even attack you.

Even I, your attendant, that is always by your side and also doesn't like going outside, knows that you shouldn't do that.

" Your highness, please go back and change your outfit."

" Why?"

" Please excuse us. Take a rest if you need to." He said to the workers, then pulled the heir towards the palace.

They walked towards the servant's wing and searched for the head butler.

" There you are, Eddie. I was searching for you."

" Your highness, Lord Etherwood." Eddie then greeted them with a bow.

" No need for formality, we are in a hurry. Please supply us with some servants clothes."

BANG! CLASH! BANG!

Numerous objects that was originally held by the servants was dropped to the floor when they heard what Lord Etherwood said.

" What were you doing, go clean this mess up. Please forgive them my lords."

" ... It's fine."

" May I ask why you need servant clothings."

" We are going on an excursion to a rural place to get a better understanding on the people's lifestyle. In order to do that, we need normal clothes to make us fit in better."

" O..of course, when do you need them."

" As soon as possible."

" Y...yes, we will prepare them right away. Mary, go and fetch some clothes that fit the lords." He then came over to the maid and whispered, " get them new ones but don't make to too obvious."

Maid Mary then nodded and bowed at the 2 figures. She then immediately ran to find some clothes.

" Ruke, why are you asking for servant clothes?"

" Your highness, do you know something called ' Common Sense'?"

Kazan tilted his head.

What is he doing? He's getting too sly.

" What do you mean?"

" Your highness, do you understand what we do on an excursion?"

" We go to a specific region and see if they're doing alright."

" And what would you wear during those excusions."

" Normal clothes? Do we have to wear something else?"

" Yes, WE WOULD NORMALLY WEAR NORMAL CLOTHES OR CITIZEN'S CLOTHING."

" Then we would be fine then so why are you getting so frustrated?"

My hair is going to turn white because of this kid. How is he considered to be smart?

" What you are wearing is considered to be too..."

He then looked at Kazan's outfit and said.

" Too flashy."

As he points at the embedded jewels.

" Too Handsome."

He then points at Kazan's face.

" TOO LUXURIOUS!"

He then points at the entire outfit including Kazan's face.

After that, Kazan finally realized what Ruke was hinting.

He looked down and scanned his outfit to agree with what Ruke had said.

" Where are the clothes!" Kazan shouted looking around with a flushed face.

Huh? He just realized it just now? He truly has no common sense.

Immediately after, Maid Mary ran out from one of the rooms carrying two outfits that was more... humble.

After that, the pair of males then got changed into those clothes.

After some many hardships, they finally managed to enter the carriage.

The carriage was far form what Kazan had imagined. He was used to luxurious ones with comfortable seats but this one was very basic. It was apparently for citizens that had some money.

" Are we finally going?"

" Let's set off to Ronel."

" What time is it, Res?"

" It's currently the second of the 4th Jal, my lord."

"Hmm~"

And with that, they finally set off to Ronel, along with a flushed Kazan.
