The Lurking Danger
If the King was not in a tormented state due to the feud between his two concubines, he would have pushed another woman into Long Zhao Feng's estate in the hope that he would finally grow up and start producing heirs. Then the matter with Long Yan would be resolved automatically at the same time.
On the other side, he had heard that Long Zhao Feng had not practiced abstinence at all. He had recently picked a woman, and the woman might or might not be the dearly departed Song Chun Ya. Also, this woman was coincidentally the reason why the King was gazing at a fully-recovered Long Zhao Feng and not at a cold, stiff body inside a coffin before the burial took place.
The King was not sure if he could trust the rumor, so he decided to ask the man himself. It was no secret that the King was particularly close with the Long brothers, so he did not bother to exchange pleasantries and instead chose to be direct.
