CHAPTER ELEVEN

She was beyond released when the drama soon died down and she realized that everyone seemed to turn their attention back toward their crowns.

"That is Sasha. She used to be the contender for Luna. Her father is the chief elder and he was planning to offer her to the Alpha. They had a few flings here And there in the past and she was practically in love with him. To them, it only seemed right. But then you came along and everything seemed to change in a moment. She isn't entirely happy with that predicament and I believe that is why she has come to resent you." She explained to me.

I let out a sigh as I nodded my head at her. "Well, I guess that her jealousy does make sense but that doesn't change the fact that I am still her Luna and I have a right to be respected. She has to realize that she has lost. It is time for her to face defeat." I said to her and watched as she hummed at my response.

"Well that is good you shouldn't back down. You should stand firm on your word. But you should know that she is also very stubborn and I know for a fact that she won't simply stand down without a fight. She will do whatever she can to make sure that she gets what she wants and right now what she wants is the Alpha." She informed her.

She sighed as she looked towards the girl. But now that she stared at her for a moment longer she almost felt sad for her. Here she was dawning fawning Alpha that would never want her.

"You know this could all be over quickly. You don't have to fight over him. He had already made his decision and he has moved on. It is time for you to work towards doing the same. She said to Sasha.

She watched as Sasha turned her attention towards her as she looked towards her with a raised somehow. "Just because you give some speech doesn't make you better than the rest of us. The only reason that you are here is because you were forced to be. She hissed.

That was it as she felt something profound inside of her snap. Without warning she slightly lowered the collar of her shirt to reveal her mark. "This may say otherwise and it means that you have to dignify me and that you have to show me the same respect you would for him. I will not force you of course. I will allow you to do as you wish, but one slip-up is all that it is going to take before I send you out of this place for good." She said to her in a warning tone.

She hadn't expected to do that at all but she was firm on her promise and she did choose to slip up and she would take necessary action against her.

She slowly stood up from Her spot feeling as though she no longer desired to be there. She didn't have to prove anything to them and it was almost degrading to lower her to the status of some girl sitting around and weaving flower crowns with the other women.

She was going to find the Alpha and she was going to give him the piece of her mind. She could only hope that it wouldn't cost her life. She began to roam around the pack grounds and at first, she didn't understand what was going on.

There was no one in her line of sight until she spotted the training ground. She felt a small smirk come over her features as she headed closer to it. "You are used to arm to arm Combat and fighting in your wolf form but your opponent can come at you with any strategy and in any form and so you must be ready for That. We will be learning how to throw blades at a target." He called out and she watched as the men stood firm In their spots. Some of them must have noticed her and they turned their curious gazes towards her.

The alpha went around giving over weapons and it seemed as though he didn't notice her at first or he didn't care. "Now I want to see how well your aim is. So from there we can see where to improve". He spoke up.

"Alpha is there a war coming? Why are we training hard for it." One of the men said and they watched as he chuckled lightly before he shook his head.

"There is always war and in truth, you can't be too prepared for it." He said. She watched as they all lined up in front of the targets as he began to pace behind them. He helped them with their aim as he began to lace behind them.

"Now I want you to get as many accurate targets as you can. There is no time for any funny business. Your aim must be precise and it must hit the target at any given range. He called out.

She watched as they began to throw their blades toward the bull's eye as he passed behind them. She looked towards them with her brow raised as she watched as most of them were able to miss the bullseye and some even the target entirely.

She watched as frown lines marred the Alpha's face and it was clear that he was frustrated at the sight. It was almost comical to see but she knew that it wasn't her place to intervene.

She watched as he pulled out Sets of blades and hit multiple targets. They were near perfect and the others looked toward the sight in awe. She scoffed as she lifted a few of the Discarded blades into the air and made them hit every single bull's eye.

The Alpha and the men turned to her as she curtsied.

"You Are welcome."
