The treasure from his past

Then, a small cave focused into his visual field.

It was obviously a perfect shelter. He was kind of scared that there might be wild animals in it. But, as each minute passed, the rain grew heavier, so he had no choice but to run inside the cave to escape soaking more.

Cave had a deep end buried in the darkness resembling the void. Xie didn't want to explore the cave as he valued fast escape routine if there was a wild animal inside the cave.

Growl

Rumble escaped and echoed inside the cave. Not from a wild beast, But his hungry belly. He sat down and seized his wet bag. Good thing he packed food in a waterproof manner. He grabbed a steamed bun and took a large bite.

But, before he closed the bag, he saw some faint gleam escape from inside of it. He stared for a moment and started searching for its source.

Finally, he found the culprit. His Bàba's little box emitted a lime green glow through its openings. A lime-green glimmer painted the cave walls in Xie's vicinity, as soon as he opened the box.

The stone that induced a vision two nights before, was shining in a lime-green brilliance.

But, before he closed the bag, he saw some faint gleam escape from inside of it. He stared for a moment and started searching for its source.

Finally, he found the culprit. His Bàba's little box emitted a light green glow through its openings.

Xie took it by his hand. He felt faint vibration on his palm. At the same time, the same shade of green radiance erupted inside the cave. Xie felt a thorough urge to follow that light. His instincts told him that something important was waiting for his arrival.

He took a dagger out of his bag and held it in his right hand while holding the stone in his left. The stone brightened up his path as he moved inside the cave. He didn't have to proceed for long as he saw something illuminated under a pile of trash brilliantly. It was the source of light that he saw from the depth of that cave.

He felt his heartbeat out of his chest as he gets closer to the pile of debris. He didn't even remember the possibility of hidden snakes in that debris. He dug up the trash using his bare hands.

The thing that appeared amidst debris was A SWORD. It glowed in brilliant lime green that made it look magnificent. Xie was mesmerized by this sight. However, his heart swelled with affection towards the sword for an unknown reason. He picked it up carefully.

"QiJi"(means Hope)

He somehow knew this sword's name is QiJi. It flowed into his mind as soon as he picked up the sword. Yet his heart told him that something is missing.

Therefore he carefully observed the sword. A big empty slot was visible at the sword hilt. Then it clicked to him. He pressed the stone he held in his left hand on that slot.

Lime green brilliance transformed into the pure amethyst violet shade. Spark escaped from the sword-blade and hits Xie.

He went flying into the opposite side of the cave. Surprisingly his grip on the sword didn't lose. Then he witnessed another vision.

No. It wasn't a vision like before. Numerous scenes started to visualize in front of his eyes. He slowly began to...Remember...his past.

Qiji- hope
