Again Arthur chimed in. He held back his laughter when he heard Gilda wanted to treat the wound.

"I don't need your help," Arthur replied flatly.

Gilda ignored Arthur's words. She continued to do her will to treat Arthur with a flat look on her face without making any comments. Then, she began debugging Arthur's big arm and placing it over his right thigh.

"Didn't you hear? I don't need your help!"

"Shhh! You shut up, or I change my mind. In this situation, you must need me very much. So, keep your mouth shut," Gilda said as she cleaned up the dirt attached to the wolf's scratches on Arthur's arm.

"Ah! Can't you treat me gently? Besides, where did you know that I needed you? I didn't ask you for help at all!"

"Hey! That hurts so much! You're a fool what's the matter?"

"If you don't know how to treat someone's injuries, don't act like a hero!"

Arthur was just preoccupied with his constant babbling of scolding Gilda. The more Gilda didn't care, Arthur looked more and more bloody. Even though he felt so, the Jotun did not move his arm from Gilda's thigh when the treatment occurred.

Nimbly, Gilda tore off a tiny part of her shirt as a bandage on Arthur's wound. Three coils were coiled to the right, and the wound was appropriately resolved. The blood no longer flows, nor is the wound clean. Little chance that the wound will be infected.

"Ok, we're done," Gilda said with a small smile as she finished her work.

"What's done? You did this without my consent, you know?!" asked Arthur.

"Come on, now you're better, aren't you?"

"I told you, I don't need your help. But, since you're pushing, I think of this as your thank you to me for saving you earlier."

"Hahaha, I don't need to thank you. If only you could wait a little bit, I would be able to subdue those wolves. After all, the scars on your body prove that you can't treat your wounds properly. You're the one who should have thanked me," Gilda said, not to be outdone.

As the two continued to boast and wouldn't relent, Pipi started to get sultry and tried to get rid of them. She has an idea to stop the argument between Gilda and Arthur. She grabs some fish to eat together with them.

They also ate grilled fish together. There was no debate, no hostility, and peace began to be felt between them. At least for now.

"By the way, you left us last night. Why did you suddenly come when the wolf attacked us? Are you not going anywhere and just pretending?" asked Gilda Ivar.

At first, Arthur didn't realize that Gilda was asking him. He was busy enjoying the fish he was currently eating. Annoyed because she felt she was not considered, Gilda threw a pebble at the monster with a strong enough force to make Arthur startled.

"Hey!" protested Arthur, exasperated.

"I'm asking you. Didn't you hear? Are you deaf?!" asked Gilda back.

"I'm eating. Can't you talk to someone? Or at the very least, don't disturb the eating person, can you?"

Because Gilda had finished eating first and waited for Arthur according to what she said, she was so curious this time that she was willing to wait to get the answer. While waiting, she walked to the vicinity of the forest but not too far from her last location. From a distance, she saw the familiarity of Arthur and Pipi, who were eating together while occasionally throwing smiles, laughter, and jokes.

Gilda felt something strange in her heart when she saw this unusual scene. For some reason, she felt what she had always believed was wrong.

'Are the Jotuns not as evil as I thought?'

'Ah! Sober up, Gilda! You're barely in his trap. If indeed he is a good creature, what is she kidnapping your citizens for?'

Gilda's reverie split when she heard Pipi's screams calling her name from a distance.

"Do you want to hear my answer or not? So then, instead of being quiet, you go away, you strange woman," Arthur chimed in with a cynical face.

"You just have to answer, don't talk about anything else," annoyed Gilda.

"So, yesterday I did leave you guys. There is something I have not told you guys that, since my departure from the Dark forest, I have felt stalked by a pack of wolves. However, it didn't last long, they only appeared occasionally. I think they did target you guys but were afraid of my presence. When I left, my feelings said that yesterday night something bad would happen. For some reason I heard a whisper telling me to come back to you guys. Finally, I obeyed the whispers and just as I arrived, the wolf was attacking you. So, that's the story...," Arthur said.

It is true what Jotun said. Not only once or twice did he see one of last night's wolves who inflicted as long as he was lost with Gilda. He knew that Gilda was the one they were targeting. However, there is one thing he still doesn't understand. That is, only this time, a wolf considered him a rival. The Jotuns' mortal enemy to this day is humans. So far, there hasn't been an animal that doesn't befriend the Jotuns until Arthur meets the wolf who hated him last night. So, if humans are the mortal enemies of the Jotuns, why is Arthur still with Gilda until now?

"If indeed they have been stalking Pipi and me for a long time. Why don't you tell us?" asked Gilda curiously.

"For what? I'm with you guys, and they must be afraid of my presence. That's why they only attacked you when I left," Arthur retorted.

"Had you not been around, I could have conquered them. Don't be so confident, Jotun."

'Here we go again...,' Pipi said in her heart. She had begun too tired when the debate between the two began to take place. She only wanted to focus on finding a way home without more debate.

"You don't reflect on yourself? You don't carry any weapons to protect yourself. Then, how can you resist?"

Arthur's question made Gilda fall into deep thought. She is looking for the correct answer to avoid looking wrong or weak.

"Wait, I've come to remember something. When you take me, you certainly saw my sword. Because when I realized, the sword was no longer in my shirt," asked a curious Gilda.

"yes, I saw it. But didn't you point that sword at me the first time we met? And when I took you away, I couldn't remember that anymore. All I thought was how to get as far away from the Dark forest as possible. It's possible that your sword fell while I was carrying you," Arthur said.

"There's a lot of things I don't understand about you, Jotun. Right now, you want us to go home to where each of our lives. Why did you decide to leave the Dark forest if that's the case? isn't that your place, and your territory?" asked Gilda, whose curiosity grew longer and more.

"There are things I can't tell you. But, if that's the case, we've got this skill. It's better. We continue the journey before the night comes," Arthur immediately moved from his sitting position.

Arthur seemed to divert the subject. This makes Gilda curious about what happened to the Jotun with her.

'Does this all have anything to do with my hunch?' asked Gilda in her heart.
