Opening his eyes, he saw the ceiling of his room. The morning breeze assaulted his skin as he saw the curtains fluttering with the touch of the wind.

Xuan twinkled his eyes and felt that something was off.

"I died right? So why am I in my room in the past?" he asked himself then jolted.

Running towards his mirror, he saw a youthful face he had in the past. Cheeks were slightly pinkish and eyes in almond. Hair was long on his back and he had bangs that he had in the past.

"Well this is certainly my hair in the past!" he muttered. "Wait? I went back in the past?" he questioned himself.

He immediately remembered the traitors of his past life. With the second chance given to him, he would have his revenge.

"You all wait as I will take my revenge on you all! I will antagonize you all and become the villain of your lives! Muahahaha!" Xuan shouted.

He went outside his room and saw his sister as well as his parents waiting for him for breakfast. Without any hesitation, he dashed and hugged his parents as well as his sister.

"I am glad, I am glad," Xuan went in tears as he remembered all the pain he had before death. It felt unnatural and surreal but all he knew was that he was glad to finally be with them the second time. If it was a dream, he wouldn't want to wake up.

"Hon, your child is acting weird today." his mother Xia was worried, looking at him.

"Big brother is crying," Xian was about to cry too as her brother was crying. Her eyes were about to be in tears.

His mother then comforted him and then he immediately wiped his tears. But, his father was just disappointed in him. Clicking his tongue and shaking his head.

"A man should not easily cry for no reason. Reflect on that," Ban said to him.

"Yes, Dad!" Xuan said with a more resolute voice. Wiping his tears.

"Your grandfather Patriarch was a strong man. Make him your inspiration," he said to him.

"Yes!" Xuan shouted this time.

They soon ate and Xuan went back to his room. He just remembered that he was a cripple in his young age. Despite being the young master of their clan, he was a cripple and was bullied by other children.

He soon started to deal with some problems and his meridians were damaged.

He needed to repair them all for now or he would be cripple for his whole cultivation life.

Human knowledge was when you became a cripple, you would not become a cultivator anymore. But it was all a lie! Only it becomes a lie when you know how to repair your damaged meridians as well as your body, spirit, and soul. It was a slow process but effective. It never fails to have you restored as your olden times as a cultivator.

This knowledge was hidden from the masses to not cause the enemies to repair themselves. Make it a great deal of saving effort when you know your enemies will not come to you again and again and again for your entire life. Thus crippling them would save you from annoying comebacks.

He first started to repair his soul and spirit. He used the hidden technique of the healers back in the day and then slowly repaired the damage. It was very dangerous to damage your soul as it was you. Also, the spirit as it was your body in the afterlife. Making him feel weakened all this time in his years as a baby.

It was a slow process as his powers were still weak. He could only heal himself one hour once a day. He felt exhausted afterward. He then rested and slept to regain his lost energy.

He closed his eyes and went to his soul realm.

He then went next to his divine spark and it was like a shattered glass that was littered on the soul realm. He gathered them and then pieced them one by one. With great effort, he assembled them. But still, it was full of cracks. He needed to heal them with his healing technique to slowly glue them into one.

As far as he was concerned, he needed many years to finally regain being a cultivator. Judging from his energy alone, it was still low and slow to heal them all in just a jiffy. In the past, he could heal many people in an hour.

Next was his soul potential. Now this was crucial in his future as his future in cultivation. This sums up all the factors that the entrance exam in the academy would measure and test. With it in shambles, all would be forfeited in your cultivation life.

And so he needed to repair it. With the same healing technique, he started to heal himself. The same process was made for several days. Days became weeks and weeks became months.

His damaged meridians were all healed and they could now inhibit Qi. Making him able to use Qi. To his surprise, he was able to control it better than a normal person.

He was now seven years old and he successfully regained his past well-being of his cultivation. Now he can start to cultivate and train his body. He would now start his journey on the path of cultivation.

The ones that he needed to prepare for his academy entrance exam were physique, soul attributes, cultivation potential, spirit potential, soul prowess, and martial growth potential.

The white was attributeless and had the slowest cultivation speed. But it had the most versatility and flexibility. It could far surpass other colors when it comes to its capacity to hold martial paths.

The green had faster cultivation speed than white and gave more priority to its essence distribution on the physique.

The blue was faster than green and gave priority to the execution speed of all skills on the selected martial path.

The red one was faster than the blue one and had a higher comprehension rate of learning skills of the selected martial path.

The orange one was faster in red and had more firepower in the prowess of using the skills of the selected martial path.

The yellow one was faster than the orange one and gives more level of mastery of the skills than normal.

Purple was faster in yellow and gave a faster martial stage growth than all of the colors. Basically from the newbie, adept, elite, master, grandmaster, legend, and last mythic.

The cultivation potential gives longevity by expelling impurities from the body. The spirit potential was for the speed of growth of your spirit and the endurance of your use of Spirit techniques. Soul prowess was for the strength of your soul and the endurance of your use of soul-related techniques. And last the martial growth potential that measures how fast you will become from Newbie to Mythic.
